latest tragedy for the navy's specific fleet. three sailors are still missing after the crash north of the philippines. the plane's eight other passengers were rescued. two other deadly incidents this year involving the pacific fleet, led to the dismissal of eight top naval officers. families of 44 people on a missing argentine submarine received devastating news. the submarine may have exploded. the news left relatives of the crew in tears. searches will continue until the sub's fate is determined. lawyers representing former national security adviser michael flin reportedly have stopped talking to the president's legal team. "the new york times" with this, first to report that flynn's attorneys say they are no longer sharing information about special counsel robert mueller's investigation into the russian interference in the election.

flynn may be cooperating with mueller, but it doesn't necessarily prove that's the case. senator al franken will address the media on sunday amid the growing sexual harassment scandal. four women have now accused the democrat of sexual misconduct. in a thanksgiving day statement, he apologized, saying his behavior crossed a line with some women. the senator is facing an ethics investigation and calls for his resignation. >> fedex has announced one of its workers has died in a work related accident. the woman was part of a team at the memphis airport hub. and the company said she died after being trapped under a loader, this is the third worker killed at that hub over the past 40 months. and we're learning disturbing details about the murder of a baltimore police detective. the father of five was shot with his own gun the day before he was supposed to testify in a case involving other officers. abc's gloria riviera has more. >> reporter: an

detective sean suitor, shot in the head with his own gun. no suspects and few clues to who murdered him, but now this revelation from police. >> the very next day after detective suitor was murdered, he was scheduled to appear before a federal grand jury. >> that federal grand jury hearing, a police corruption case, and indicting eight baltimore cops. some of those cops admitted to shaking down citizens, stealing drugs, then selling them. authorities say suitor was not a target in the investigation and there's no evidence yet his murder was premeditated. >> i just am determined to keep following the evidence. there's nothing we won't consider. >> reporter: an 18-year veteran of the force and father of five, he was with his partner investigating a triple murder last week, when they noticed a man acting suspiciously. suitor approached. >> the struggle and again, there's evidence of a struggle, was brief and violent. >> we do not know where the shots came from. we have officers in bad locations.

let's everybody take cover somewhere. >> suitor's partner called for help but was only able to give a vague description of the suspect. police and federal agents are still focusing on the dangerous neighborhood. more than a dozen people killed at a single intersection there in recent years, and the reward for any information leading to an arrest is now at $215,000. gloria riviera, abc news, baltimore. and we have an update on that one woman's effort to pay back a homeless man who spent his last $20 to help her out. >> i love this story. kate mcclure set up a gofundme page to raise money for the man who helped her on the side of the road, johnny bobbitt jr., when she was out of gas on the side of the road late at night. johnny is a veteran from north carolina, with a good heart, according to a friend back home. >> her goal was to raise $10,000 to try and help him out. but the total is now approaching $300,000. kate posted her response to that, saying, unreal.

potential bomb inside of it. >> reporter: prosecutors say 46-year-old julia poff of brookshire, texas, mailed the devices, along with a third to the acting head of the social security administration in october of 2016 after her application for benefits were denied. court documents said the governor's package had an obliterated shipping label addressed to "poff." but one of the biggest clues found on the cat hair from the obama package. >> this is textbook law enforcement forensic evidence. pulling up hairs and fibers, anything that can be traced back to the suspect. in this case, they found cat hair that they could match up with the defendant's cat. >> reporter: she pled not guilty, she's in federal custody facing six counts of various charges. marcus moore, abc news, dallas. turning you now to football and thanksgiving, three games starting just after noon for fans. the final match-up was outside of our nation's capital.
