were sexually assaulting clients. michelle: massage envy faces several lawsuits including one from d.c. who says she was touched inappropriately. jonathan: sam ford was there as she spoke out for the first time. what did she say? >> well, jonathan, i am 'sed 'sed -- i am outside of the massage therapy on wisconsin avenue where the woman identifies herself now, no longer as jane doe but tara woodley. she says a massage therapist started to perform oral sex on her in september. she spoke with reporters in her attorney's office. her husband behind her. she said after all the sexual incidents involving hollywood and washington power brokers she decided to come forward and tell her story herself. she is filing a $25 million lawsuit against massage envy alleging that they knew her assaulter and assaulted other females but moved

to spa after complaints. she said it was on her first visit to this massage envy when she realized the man was performing oral sex. >> i just, you know, just kind of froze for a second. i didn't know what to do. i began saying we are done here. this is over. >> what did he say? >> he initially, he began apologizing. i'm sorry, tara. he kept using my name over and over and he got on the knees and grabbed my left hand and pleaded with me not to tell anybody. >> she says she immediately left this place, called 911. when the police came out here, she said that the therapist appeared. he is identified as 24-year-old habtamu gebreslassie. police arrested him and he is still in jail. this is more than on

cases where people allege the incidents of sexual assault involving the massage envy locations. the company today issued a statement saying this is heart breaking. says it will never stop trying to find ways to provide for a safe environment. we will have more on the story coming up at "abc7 news at 5:00". reporting live from northwest washington, i'm sam ford, abc7 news. nancy: on that note, massage envy has 1200 spas employing more than 20,000 therapists across the country. buzz feed news investigation finding the assault claim confirmed more than 180 women. one of them says she was at risk because massage envy knew about at least one incident prior to her assault. in court documents massage envy says it is not libel -- liable for assault at franchise locations and they are working to support the franchises and the giants. michelle: today, congress is back to work taking on a long list of the important legi

in virginia the board of elections certified results today. but it may not be or mean that the race for a key general assembly seat is quite over yet. our richard reeve is live in stafford to explain why. why three weeks plus, rich? >> it takes a while to re-calibrate and it gets messy from there. the democrats are not happy. damns weighing their options and the republicans saying the race is over, let's start governing here. this is inside the stafford building. democrats are not happy about this. advisers for joshua cole, the democrat for the 28th house seat in stafford said they may ask for a recount. this comes after they announced absentee

jonathan: this is a question a lot of folks are grappling with. how do you tackle gang violence? that was a complex topic at the montgomery county council members took up today. montgomery county report kevin lewis explains more money might be needed. kevin: a new report 9% of residents ages 16 to 24 are at risk. that is the demographic gangs like ms-13 are desperately trying to recruit. the report revealing montgomery village, wheaton, aspen hill, glenmont are the greatest need. this year alone ike leggett put $25 million toward youth programs but the councilman rice argues the mounting ms-13

the gunman drove to ton terrorizing people and crashing his truck through the school gates before opening fire. two students were shot. by the end of it all five people had been killed. jonathan: a supreme court meantime rejecting an appeal from the maryland gun owners. they challenge the state assault weapons ban. justices upheld the maryland law not permitting the sale of several semi-automatic weapons and the large capacity maggie:s. the high court turned away an appeal asserting a constitutional right to carry guns openly in public. now the decision does come days another record-setting year for gun sales on black friday. the f.b.i. says it received 200,000 requests for the background check with the firearm purchases on friday. each check means another purchase. that is 17,000 more than the record set last year. >> today marks ten years since sean taylor was shot and killed in a break-in at his home in

he was 24 years old when he was shot to death. we spoke to fans about the star. >> in honor of sean taylor's memory outside fedex field the redskins painted a 21, his uniform number when he played with the team. he certainly created a lot of memories inside this stadium over the relatively short time in the d.c. area. it's been ten years ago since he was shot at his home. we went to the vienna inn where there are fans that gather every day and in all the years they followed the team they have never seen anybody who hit as hard as sean taylor. they also say in all the years they followed the team there has never been another tragedy as sad and as senseless as this one. it still brings up a lot of emotions. >> hitting his t
