we have must-see video. >> now abc 7 news at 11:00, on your side. kellye: an alexandria family is searching for answers after their loved one was found stabbed to death last night less than a mile from his mother's home on fairchild drive melissa dipane has our top story. melissa: the police were on routine patrol when they found the body of 24-year-old luis ernesto bonilla with stab wounds to his upper body. they do not know how long he had been out here. now his family is asking for anybody with information to come forward. soft,many murderers go on and now -- go unsolved, and now i know how it feels. melissa: luis ernesto bonilla is remembered by his brothers. they hope that somebody has information on who stabbed their little brother and left him to die. >> very down to earth, loving, caring.

dipane, abc 7 news. kellye: a shooting in southeast d.c. is now a homicide investigation. the woman who was shot in the head has died on 16 straight area officers do not know who pull the trigger but are looking for information. >> we were all hoping for a better outcome. kellye: the body of a missing north carolina three-year-old has been found. the police say that mariah woods ' body was found in a creek 25 miles from her house. her mother's boyfriend was charged with hiding her body. investing it or say that he knew that she did not die of natural causes. they are tightlipped about what happened to the little girl. a herndon man faces charges after a crash that killed his passenger last night. the police say he was drinking and lost control of his truck and hit a parked car before hitting a townhouse in sterling.

6 exploding in a man's hands in a store in new york city. the iphone x might be the hottest phone out there, but it has nothing on this iphone 6. watch this surveillance video. the man said he was texting a friend when suddenly it blew up in his hands. i answert a message, the message, and as i'm holding the phone smoke came out of the phone. the phone literally exploded. reporter: it happened at the grocery store in brooklyn. he said all of a sudden the screen went black and got so hot that he said it did this to his thumb. the phone was so hot that it burned a mark into the floor. he said the phone was smoking for 20 more minutes. >>
