28th district and lost to the republican rob thompson by 82 votes. melissa dipane is at the live desk. what did cole have to say? melissa: he said he is fighting to make the voice of the voters heard whether they intended to vote for him or not. before vote counting could take place, the candidates for the virginia house of delegates 20th district joshua cole knew that something was wrong. >> i had volunteers with me who had been knocking on doors throughout the campaign, at the polling location, and they texted or called and said we just want to vote for you but they give us the wrong ballot. they were told to vote regardless. melissa: he said the issue was brought to the registrar's office in fredericksburg. at issue, a technical area. 88th districts are affected.
