for sander cohen yesterday. q mccray joins us at the live desk. he's been following this double tragedy since it happened. so much sadness with this one. q: that's for sure. this has been a tough weekend for law enforcement, morning not one but two of their own. we are learning more about carlos wolf. as you can see, he was a family man. he was 11-year veteran of the fbi and leaves behind his wife, seven-year-old son, and two-year-old daughter. a family released a statement on his passing, which reads in part, are carlos was an amazing father, husband, uncle, and brother who made us all very proud. he loved serving his country as part of the fbi. he was always helpful in giving to not just his friends, but to his family. we appreciate your prayers during this difficult t

, a deputy chief with the maryland state fire marshal's office and volunteer firefighter, they died after they were hit by a car on i-270 late friday. cohen was off duty when he stopped to help wolf whose car broke down. he had no idea wolf was an fbi agent. cohen sending and them both over the wall to the cohenside of, i-270 where was hit by a second vehicle. cohen was one of six children of -- carlos was one of six children. no charges have been filed at this point, but authorities say the case remains open, and we will you know what happens next. i am q mccray, abc 7 news. kimberly: now to the developing story on the west coast, new concerns

this is on bremer circle. person is displaced tonight. d.c. police are busy looking for some thieves in the three separate incidents. someone climbed through in mcdonald's drive-through window, demanding money from workers. in northwest, employees at a store were held up by two people. that happened last night. these are pictures of the thieves who got away with money, and earlier yesterday morning in northeast, police say a man smashed the glass of a restaurant's drive-through window. he tried to get in the cash register, but took off empty-handed. in prince george's county, police say a woman driving erratically hit three different cars, including two police vehicles. that happened on old gunpowder road and continued through montgomery county. officers say she was eventually stopped and taken to the hospital to be evaluated. no one was hurt in any of those crashes.

that could have a huge impact on the balance of power in congress. doug jones and roy moore, facing off for a special election in alabama. eight women have accused roy moore of sexual misconduct. he has denied the allegations again today as his opponent makes a final push in a state that has not seen a democratic senator and more than a quarter century. >> it is inconceivable to think that someone would wait 40 years because they were embarrassed or ashamed of something. >> it has been a disaster for the face of alabama already. kimberly: president trump robo calloore in a released to alabama voters this weekend. now to the latest on those i-66 tolls. virginia's top transportation leader, responding to the man's to suspend the pricey tolls. sam sweeney tells us it doesn't look like they are going away anytime soon. >>

$40? that is ridiculous. sam: with tolls as high as $40 on i-66, our area went wild. some lawmakers demanded change. >> there are ways to do this to move people and move cars in a more efficient matter -- manner, a number of lawmakers called for an immediate full thisnsion, but later morning, transportation secretary aubrey lane sent this multipage letter back, detailing each reason why he will not suspend the toll. lane this morning, transportation says it was only a brief time period, only six minutes, and only 30 cars aided that price. the average driver paid $14.50. lane says the $40 toll is not something drivers should expect to pay daily. restrictions,rid lane says allowing hybrids would increase tolls. more cars,

be this time of year, maybe a few degrees shy. as we head through tomorrow night, a little clipper system is going to swing through. some models wanted to bring some of this precipitation. they wanted to bring it closer this point, it's far enough away that it is something to watch. it will still be mild, believe it or not, through the day tuesday, but by tuesday night into wednesday, that is when the colder air will start to settle in. we will feel some colder air and much more frigid conditions for the back half of the week. temperatures drop back from the 30's into the 20's. heading out the door, making your way to work and school, it will be a cool one. tuesday, breezy with some flurries.
