controlled, but that several kids ran off when they arrived. officers were told to stop any suspicious teen drivers in the area, because they could be drunk. police say one possible scenario is that sepehri, while trying to walk home from the party, fell in the woods and died of exposure. his home is about 2 miles from where he was found. happening right now in california. a historic wildfire burning out of control-- and the damage is growing by the minute. firefighters say almost 900 buildings now destroyed.. most of them homes. and a new setback this morning -- the thomas fire jumping fire lines... growing by nearly 60-thousand acres in just a day. one shelter is now working to get more than a thousand animals inside and away from dangerous smoke and flames. the ash is coming down like snow. an additional 2-thousand firefighters have

an additional 2-thousand firefighters have been called in to battle the flames. it's the fifth largest wildfire in california history -- scorching more than 350-square miles in a week. right now we're getting a look at the man fairfax county police say robbed - and then killed a 24-year-old in alexandria. take a moment to look at his picture. police say endless taylor stabbed and killed luis bonilla back on december first. bonilla's body was found by officers on a routine patrol -- in a wooded area about a mile from his mother's home on fairchild drive. if you know anything about taylor, or where he might be -- police want to hear from you. devevloping now-- new details coming to light about the story involving this

his video went viral after his mother recorded his tearful reaction to bullying in class. now two go-fund-me pages associated with keaton are shut down. gofundme says one page called "stand up for keaton" was started by a guy who doesn't know the family-- it has raised almost 60-thousand dollars. that money is now frozen, amid a fraud investigation. another page started by keaton's mom, seeking money for christmas gifts, is also suspended. this story continues to unfold on social media-- amid new allegations about keaton's mom-- kimberly jones. for more on that-- we go to ryan hughes in the newsroom. just hours after that outpouring of support from some big names in hollywood -- an about face from some and calls for patience from others. this after kimberly jones is accused of racism.

and stolen seats. johnson initially said he feared for his safety, and saw someone reach for something, and that's when he fired. prosecutors and cruz's family dispute that account. johnson resigned from the department shortly after the shooting. prosecutors plan to call 20 witnesses to the stand. the trial is expected to last up to two weeks. developing now.. the justice department appealing the latest ruling on transgenders in the military.. to a d.c.-based federal appeals court. last night a third federal judge blocked president trump's ban on transgender people joining the military. mr. trump announced his ban in july. his press secretary says the military will comply with the latest court orders.

blake dremann is one of 15-thousand transgender people in the military. he says president trump's ban is based on bad information. and he says having transgenders in the armed forces is "not" making the military less efficient. despite president trump's opposition, the pentagon says beginning january first, it will allow anyone who wants to serve to enlist. you'll soon be able to watch football games on your smartphone, regardless of carrier. the n-f-l recently reached a deal with verizon to carry games on mobile phones. starting in january, anyone with a smartphone will be able to watch n-f-l games airing in their local market. they'll also be able to watch nationally televised matchups. fans can stream games on three apps: yahoo sports, verizon's go-90 and n-f-l mobile. previously, n-f-l smartphone streaming was exclusively for verizon customers.
