it is still cold out there. but the numbers are going up. we are not going to have another morning tomorrow where we are in the zero to the 10 degree range with the wind chill factor. 32 is the temperature in manassas. 32 in winchester. the snow possibility, snowing along west virginia and 68. this is starting to enter our area where 66 meets 81. it will continue to push to the west. a quick moving weather system. not expecting much. if anything half an inch here and there. notice the numbers are in the mid-30's. we don't drop a lot. the clouds come in to hold the temperatures. the numbers are cold enough. we don't need to go lower than that. we keep an eye on it and talk about the weekend in a little bit. we want to you can the about how chilly it was this morning. brianne carter is live and she got to talk to people this morning to see how they were doing. how are

throughout the district and pins george's county. look at the video we are about to show you. this is surveillance showing the men exiting a and have running out on 8th street last tuesday. the men appear to be older and the police believe they are connected to several other burglaries and the robberies. at cell phone stores. jewelry store and a clothing store all dating back to december 1. it happened this morning on f street northwest. in one instance, the robberies on december 3, the suspect allegedly entered a cell phone store on pennsylvania in southeast and ordered everyone to the ground. here is what the commander had to say about all this. >> we don't want any crime to elevate. we try to eliminate all crime. we don't want it to elevate where someone may get hurt. >> the most recent case police believe the su

senate republicans to jam through this tax bill would giving the newly elected senator from alabama the opportunity to cast his vote. alison: meanwhile, the house and the senate republicans say they reached a deal in principle on tax cuts. while final details have not been released. here is what we know so far. the top tax rate would be reduced from 40% to 37%. the corporate tax rate would go to 21%. homeowners would be able to deduct up to $750,000 of their mortgage interest. president trump celebrated the deal at the white house this afternoon. >> the typical family of four earning $75,000 will see income tax cut of more than $2,000, slashing their tax bill in half. larry: alison

okay? the redskins did not change the name to red hawks. the word spreading on social media today. but tonight we are finding out the real deal. maryland bureau chief brad bell live in fedex field and landover. this was a pretty elaborate hoax. brad: it really was but it was a hoax. look. here is the proof. on fedex field you can see the name hasn't changed. they used all the tricks of a fake news campaign preying on people's desire to believe what they see on social media. the disinformation campaign was elaborate and around the change team name, red hawks, complete with a logo, a fake website, fake twitter account and phony articles looking like they came from prominent publications aimed at giving credence to the notion that washington's football team has changed the name to the red hawks. th

no. you send it out and send it all over the country. hopefully, this is hopefully, you will get somebody to say hey, we saw your work and we want you to come work for us. check it out. give you a shot. i tell the kids in college, your first job, your very first job is the hardest one to get. once you get that, then you are kind of working. then you can start put stuff together but the first one is tough. schooling is important. as in any job in my opinion, the passion. do what you love to do. if you want to do television weather, do that. do what you love and you will be successful. alison: and you continue to update the certifications. all of the meteorologists are going to the conferences and take more tests because the technology changes. bill: it does. you want to be refreshed what is going on. as meteorologists we love it. so for us, conferences and those things are bummer, we have to go! alison: usually in like san diego. somewhere really nice and warm.
