"krisha garris" then posted that video on snapchat. it happened on december first in the bathroom of a building on independence avenue, near the d-c armory. garris was charged with voyeurism. happening right now - a manhunt for the uber driver accused of attacking a woman in his car, blocks from the capitol. take a look at your screen. police say "selvin cho-cooj" tried to sexually assault a woman early sunday morning. a spokesperson for uber says it's helping police with the investigation and it removed that driver from the app. funerals are set for this morning for two highly respected men killed friday night in a crash on i-270. volunteer firefighter and deputy chief fire marshal sander cohen's funeral will be held in rockville. f-b-i special agent carlos wolff will be laid to rest in gaithersburg. last night, rockville volunteer firefighters paid tribute to cohen during their 15th annual hanukkah celebration. cohen joined the department around the time these

cohen joined the department around the time these volunteers started that hanukkah tradition. they say the event meant a lot to him. today marks five years since 26 people were shot and killed in the massacre at sandy hook elementary school. the nation stunned when a 20-year-old opened fire in newtown, connecticut -- killing those 20 children and six educators. just after the shooting.. then president obama called for meaningful action' on gun control... but two major pieces of legislation which would have required universal background cheks for firearms - failed to pass the senate. now five years later - gun violence prevention advocates are calling for action once again. they'll hold a vigil this morning outside n-r-a headquarters in fairfax. happening today - a major decision on the future of the internet. the f-c-c will vote on net neutrality. those rules prevent internet providers from slowing down speeds for certain internet sites and apps. critics say repealing them will mean higher prices and slower speeds for you. and several media outlets say the f-c-c

sounds just hard to believe. that's an 11-year-old girl screaming for help as she was arrested at gunpoint by police in grand rapids, michigan. this all started when officers were searching for a woman after a stabbing. officers thought she was hiding inside the home the girl and two other adults were leaving. but turns out they had the wrong house..and now officers are under fire for the way it all went down. the grand rapids police chief admitting the young girl was not treated properly. now an internal investigation is underway -- after a complaint was filed on behalf of the 11-year-old girl. right now -- police in d-c trying to nab the guy behind a possible hate crime. watch him on your screen in the purple

starts pepper spraying that woman on the left. she falls to the ground, and the guy runs off. he seemed to be prepared to do this, he's covered his nose and mouth. this was on georgia avenue in northwest, around 1-45 tuesday afternoon. we'll let you know as soon as we find out more from police. this morning police are searching for three men they think pulled off seven burglaries, robberies, and thefts in d.c. one suspect caught on camera entering benson's jewelers on "f" northwest street after breaking a glass door. then he stole 22 watches. police believe he and two other men also stole a van last week from a southeast d.c. church, then robbed a clothing store. a sprint store on benning road, and an a-t-and-t store on pennsylvania avenue were also hit. if you recognize these men, you're asked to call police. must see video. a porch bandit in arizona -- using a clever disguise... to do some package snatching. check this out. the woman is dressed -- in what

filmmaker morgan spurlock - confessing to sexual misconduct. spurlock -- best known for the documentary "super size me" tweeted that he was part of the problem. in a lengthy post - spurlock detailed multiple encounters he had throughout his life including one in college with a woman who claims he raped her. spurlock also acknowledged a repeated history of infidelity. he went on to say he is also part of the solution and says all those who have harassed women should admit they're at fault. new overnight - a kentucky state lawmaker accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl has apparently taken his own life. state representative dan johnson was found dead just hours ago

the head. he had vehemently denied the allegations he assaulted a girl in the basement of his home. hours before his death... johnson posted a facebook message asking people to take care of his wife. he also wrote that p-t-s-d is a sickness that will quote "take my life". only on seven.. we're hearing from a woman suing the mormon church for allegedly covering up child sex abuse by a church member. six families in west virginia are involved in the lawsuit. helen, who didn't want her last name mentioned, says fellow church member michael jensen babysat for her two sons. she says he abused them back in 2008 when they were four and six-years-old. helen eventually alerted law enforcement after jensen was indicted in 20-12 for sexually abusing other children. a spokesperson for the church in utah told us they quot

second time in a week, part of a u-s helicopter fell off in-flight -- landing on a school. this time a ten-year-old student playing on a playground was injured -- fortunately not badly. investigators say it was a window that fell off that chopper. last week, another part fell on the roof of a kindergarten. no one was injured in that accident. both incidents involved u-s marine c-h-53 helicopters. japan's defense minister is calling for u-s marine flights to be suspended until the safety of those choppers can be confirmed. we are inching closer and closer to president trump's christmas deadline to get a gop tax plan - done. adrianna hopkins is standing by with more on the president's "closing

reform.. the president used a speech at the white house to amplify voices of americans he claims will directly benefit from the senate and house republican tax reform agreement. so far the house and senate have agreed on dropping the corporate tax rate from 35 to 21 percent. capping the mortgage interest deduction at 750-thousand dollars. repealing the obamacare individual mandate that requires all americans to have insurance and lowering the top individual tax rate from 39 to 37 percent. but democrats argue that the middle class will pay the price. democrats are pressing house leader mitch mcconnell to wait on a vote until the newly elected democratic senator from alabama - doug jones - is sworn in. gop lawmakers are aiming to vote on a final version next week.
