in fact, president trump has signed he were bills into law than any first-year president since dwight eisenhower. the president is vacationing in florida, where he is golfing for a third day in a row. right now, traffic flow is back to normal at the intersection of prince william parkway in woodbridge after a car hit a pedestrian.we just learned moments ago that pedestrian has died. she is identified as a 52-year-old woman from woodbridge. so far, no word on what may have caused the accident. where overnight an assault suspect led police on a chase that ended in a crash that landed 8 people in the hospital. one of them suffering critical injuries. right now, that man is behind bars. sam sweeney with more on this chaotic scene. scene out oflike a a movie. it all unfolded before 8:00 last night on autumn drive. that is where it started. the suspect knocked on a door.

that is when the suspect attacked the child. when the family called 911, the suspect took off in a stolen car headed to the nearby shopping center, crashed into a pickup truck, and got into a fight with the pickup driver, then carjacking in stealing the pickup truck. he headed down the road and crashed into a minivan. the minivan had seven people inside of it. a child was ejected and is in the hospital in critical condition. the suspect took off on foot. two police officers gave chase. finally tackling the man. he injured one of the police officers, sending him to the hospital. the officer is expected to be ok, but i this hour, it remains unclear why the suspect originally knocked on the door and assaulted the child. we are waiting on an update from fairfax county police. as soon as we get it, we will pass it along. adrianna:

people are behindtwo -- this afternoon, two people are behind bars after a chase. it happened in germantown and came to an end 25 miles away on the gw parkway. police say the suspects crashed into a guardrail near the arlington-mclean border. robbery.s hurt in that now to an update and some answers as to how a man boarded a plane from los angeles to tokyo without a ticket for that flight. the plane made a u-turn mid air, wasting eight hours of flying time. suzanne kennedy explains why the passenger and his brother are now facing some serious charges. suzanne: the fbi is weighing, no charges against a pair of brothers who somehow got on flight 175 from los angeles to tokyo using a single boarding pass. the so-called like to know where took off from los angeles at noon on tuesday. backrs later, boomeranged one flight attendants discovered the possible stowaway. a 4000 mile detour.

today throughout this stretch on 95 in virginia so this is going to be a major deal for the northbound and southbound ride. trying to look at southbound traffic through the area, that is very heavy. the camera is not working right now. here we go. very slow already. looks like rush hour here. expect a huge mess on 95 throughout the day on the virginia side. for the capital beltway, struggling at old georgetown road in bethesda. river road, things start to even out a little bit. 270 will slow down a little bit out of clarksburg. that is all from the traffic center.

adrianna: back now with must-see video. police officers pulling a man from a burning car after a nasty accident. even pilgrim with a split-second decision by the officers that saved that man's life. >> back up. the car is on fire. backup. >> a fiery car crash, three teenagers inside, for milwaukee police officers jumping into action. >> when we saw the car went into flames, we saw people unconscious, when you we had to get them out. >> a body cam capturing the rush to rescue two teenagers trapped inside. uc office or tap on the window -- you see an officer tap on the window. when no one comes out, one of the officers goes in, pulling a teenager from the car, driving them away. >> knowing i was our only job right then and there. >> the fire growing.

a second teen out, moving him to safety. another teen was able to get out on his own. all three were taken to the hospital. adrianna: now to a sobering reality for 4 teenage boys in ohio spending the holiday season in a juvenile detention center for dropping a sandbag from the freeway, killing a man. each of those teenagers are between the age of 13 and 15. police claimed they deliberately tossed the sandbag from the bridge onto a busy interstate, hitting a car below. the driver died just three days before christmas. all 4 teenagers are now charged with murder. this incident comes just two months after five teenagers in michigan were charged with second-degree murder for throwing rocks over an overpass on the exact same highway that also killed a man. finishing touches are being added to the floats for the annual rose bowl parade in pasadena, california, on new year's day.

the rose bowl game. the number three georgia bulldogs will take on the number two oklahoma sooners with a trip to the national championship game on the line. if you thought a baby being born on the side of the road was wild, this next story and the video will blow your mind. a woman in fresno, california, went into labor on the floor of a neighborhood supermarket. she went in for a coca-cola and that with a baby. surveillance video shows her walking into the store. she kneels down on the floor, yells for the cashier to call in every lens because her baby is on the way. >> then i started listening to her screaming. area and came to the was like, what is going on? because she was right there bending like "oh my god, i am having my baby." adrianna: minutes later, the baby started to come out, and it was actually the store b

evening. here we are, 6:00. no problems. whatever your friday evening plans are a sign from it being cold, you don't have any other weather to worry about. early saturday morning, this is 5:00 on futurecast. you will notice some of the snow showers moving to the area but pull through very quickly. it is just from 5:00 to 8:00 in the morning that we get the snow coming down, but it could be heavy enough at times to get a quick coding, maybe a half inch around d.c. saturday morning, the snow is gone. about half an inch for d.c. further south, even less, closer to just a quarter of an inch. not a big snow, but what is behind it will be the bigger talker, and it is the cold weather that continues to be reinforced. on saturday, 31. 27 on new year's eve.
