that eight-hour "flight to nowhere" earlier this week. investigators report -- a pair of brothers with nearly identical names - used a duplicate boarding pass to board the tokyo-bound plane out of los angeles. one had a legitimate ticket. but the other was booked on a different flight - with a different airline! the plane had already been in the air for four hours before the flight crew noticed the error -- and turned it around, back to l-a-x!! new developments now --in the senate election in alabama. democrat doug jones will be seated in the senate next month -- after state election officials certified his victory. a judge threw out republican roy moore's legal challenge yesterday. he had claimed voting irregularities could change the outcome. moore can still request a recount -- but he'd have to
