are gearing up to go back to school after the holidays. chief meteorologist bill kelly has how low we can expect the temperature to be. bill: very low. today was the seventh coldest new year's day ever recorded around here, that translates into a bitter cold start. let's talk about these numbers come 16 degrees d.c., manassas 12, 14 warrenton. we still have a breeze anywhere miles per hour, so we have windchills below zero. in the district we are at two degrees, andrews minus three. we do not have any snow, but we do have a few clouds floating by, one of the reasons we are so cold because of the clear skies. the bus stop forecast, 15 or so around 8 a.m., 23 at noon.
