last night-- a rocket took off from cape canaveral carrying a top secret spacecraft called "zuma." we know it was commissioned by the u-s government, but its mission and destination are both classified. the zuma launch kicked off what spacex hopes will be an exciting year. the company completed a record-setting 18 launches last year, and spacex plans to do even more this year. it's xx and we're just getting started. this winter blast is on the way out-- but the damage is done. why the clean up is more complicated that just shoveling some snow. good morning washington. - winter weather advisory from 3pm to 9pm - light freezing rain possible, most likely a glaze around the metro and points nw - milder temperatures finally with highs in the 50s to near 60 thursday/friday

winter blast- slamming much of north and east. a broken water main at the main international terminal of new york's kennedy airport caused hundreds of cancellations and delays. and this morning, temperatures are still below freezing... from the carolinas up to canada. abc's kendis gibson has more. this record-breaking

water mains across the area. in fort washington-- one break filled the basements of several homes with brown sewage water. residents in disbelief. 92-year-old thelma wike says she can't even stand to look in her basement, where she lost many of her most prized possessions. it was a similar story for at least six homes along bock road. one woman says she wanted to try to salvage something, but the water is covering a circuit breaker box, and she fears getting electrocuted. wssc put those affected in hotel rooms. the water company says it will also cover the full cost of replacing every item lost. the weather also taking a toll on infrastructure as freezing temperatures force howard university to postpone the start of classes. the administration made the decision after pipes
