9:09 am
extra spring in your step. that's for sure. is there any snow in the forecast? will have that for you the eight day outlook is just moments away.
9:10 am
9:11 am
were asking this morning. would you still shop at the mall if you had to pay for parking? a mall in denver started testing out a new parking system this month customers now have to pay to park. the charge is meant to stop people from taking a parking spot if they're not actually planning to shop at the mall.
9:12 am
free and the daily maximum is 16 dollars. those who stay for two hours will be charged three dollars. for example stay tower city had a garage. that was free to mall users. and now people are parking in there because they just want to park for free and walk to work somewhere downtown. they're taking up the spot for the people who would shop. they're trying to charge those people who leave their cars therefore a long time. if you were shopping for a few hours you would end up having to pay for that. i wonder where the employee's have to do that park they're every day therefore extended hours every day. a very busy area in downtown denver like you would have in downtown cleveland they happen to have them all in the middle of the area. to me if you're going to spend money don't be charging more money. i feel that way to. show your receipt and prove that you. get a voucher. like in the hospital. get a validated.
9:13 am
discourages shoppers to spend more i know like at legacy village i think i have to go even if i want to go to one more place because i have that meter running and i want to make sure i don't get a ticket or whatever i feel like they're doing a disservice. you know that money charging goes to charity. at least i don't feel horrible about it. bed putting a time limit on i thought i would only be an hour you know how shopping goes. can't relax. looking at your watch and running out. it's like that in cleveland heights if you go to restaurants there you know you park park and you have to be watching. if you're talking having dinner not paying attention all of a sudden a 15 or 20-dollar dollars ticket when you were there to support a business to spend money and i think again should get like a voucher. validation. notes to you people in cleveland heights. it discourages me from wanting to go there because you know you have a time limit and what if you miss it. anyway.
9:14 am
they're saying jackson is if you buy stuff get a validation from the store wake we were saying if you just some on that kid out littering or power walking alt lady you have to pay. back on the escalator again. brenda disagrees. i would start shopping more at the outlets instead or on my no wonder why more malls are closing and stores are closing in the mall. even a small start providing free entertainment i would pay for parking. park for free and shop and be entertained. true. chris says they want shoppers not carpoolers park and cars there people who come just to hang out and not by i don't agree with that so much but i can see where some areas it might be an issue. john jokes amazon.com doesn't charge for shopping they don't care if i shop at my door. the malls don't either. of coarse. of course they do. have you tried it?
9:15 am
escorted out. i'm just kidding. we joke. on the outside of my clothing. it kind of makes sense you have to park towers that he don't you have to pay for the parking there? i think so. when you park downtown. to me i'm like really? you want my extra $2 what if i'm going in there to spend. going to shop or work a lot of people park therefore work. the same kind of thing. same situation. i don't like the meters putting a time limit on things. stresses you out. can't relax and enjoy your shopping experience. because men love shopping. trust me if there's an hour time limit i doubt in 20 minutes. my husband is like watching his watch i'm sitting there right here don't even go. that's what they do. see you in a little bit. appreciate it. we are taking a survey. with you still shop at the mall if you had to pay for parking?
9:16 am
comments and a poll result coming up. thank you. where going to get an update with what is happening weatherwise on this friday eve see how the weekend is looking. check in with a.j. colby outside got the jacket on a little wind blowing those trees are shaking. this is definitely a little more nippy than yesterday. that's for sure. 20 degrees colder and these clouds from time to time are putting down a couple of raindrops we're trying to see a break or two of sun the web camera out and chester lynn. in geauga county and nothing on the ground right now in terms of snow. there could be some accumulation tomorrow though and that is going to be our forecast. storm fox showing some wintry precipitation mixing in their around aurora. and also up into ashtabula county close to pierpont. some showers outward sandusky. small craft advisory no surprise five to a foot waves and the
9:17 am
the water temperature is living to 48 right now. around the midwest these temperatures are chilly. nothing brutally cold but we'll get our attention. slightly below average high temperatures tomorrow on into saturday. highs will be close to 4242. note 20s over the dakotas and northern minnesota. wins here will be blowing with vigor through tomorrow. switch around to a west and northwest direction over the lake enough cold air to get lake erie snow machine to add moisture here. the best chance for snow tomorrow on into saturday morning. and you can see the accumulations their stay out over the primary snow belt. are kinds of precipitation as low pressure pulls off and there is that little trough that's instigating these scattered light rain and snow showers over cleveland a little bit.
9:18 am
tone things down a little bit by far the vast majority of accumulation upstate new york my goodness. they're going to get pounded again with more accumulating snow. our coulee error may retreat a little bit for earlier in the weeks that a week from today that big pile of cold air that you see there out west will rotate and seep into the great lakes. 42 today. that's it. a break or two of said we're hoping and a little wintry mix possible tonight out east with local accumulations possible. 41-degree high off course below average this time of the year. we stay at that level pretty much a degree or to either side of 40. next clipper on sunday we may get up close to 50 that's our forecast for wednesday. but thursday everything stays on track. these temperatures are going to
