south with that batch of storms. what we saw for mike schuh's story earlier is with dispatch the storms are lifting up into pennsylvania no longer our problem but definitely left its mark. winds are generally all over with the thunderstorm going through but they have been out of the south most of today. that's kept the moisture levels very high fueling the thunderstorms coming through. another factor were the warm temperatures. at this point we're down to 72 degrees in baltimore. 78 in d.c. 70 is pretty much across this entire map. though we did top out at 87 today, right on par with our average. now for this upcoming week we will be closer to these averages, or above them in some cases. because we really have switched to a summertime weather forecast here. the front that came in today is going to stick around right into the day tomorrow. so that everything is calming down a little bit overnight. it's going to flare up once again tomorrow with that front around. so the showers and thunderstorms, some will linger through the overnight but we will see more develop heading through the day tomorrow. and then even on tuesday, the
11:22 pm
front moves off shore but it's close enough that we could see scattered showers and thunderstorms around. as soon as we get rid of this front a new one starts approaching from the west ahead of it as early as wednesday we could see another round and that will continue on and off thursday, friday and possibly even into the weekend. so out on the water small craft advisory still in effect. tonight down to about 70. the strong thunderstorms are dying down but we could see some linger through overnight. tomorrow up to 87. another round of showers and thunderstorms is possible. you can see in this forecast, each and every day there is a chance. these are not all day rain events but the summertime thunderstorms that we see quite often this time of year. adam. >> we saw them tonight. thank you.
