ii issued a pardon. this comes after bill clinton went to north korea to discuss issues. clinton who arrived on an unannounced visit met with the ailing john nicklas -- kim jung ii. they were accuseed of sneaking into the country and sentence them to 12 years of hard labor. new information on the couple charged in a disturbing child abuse scheme. the fbi is working with them to try to identify the victims of this unthinkable crime. john nicklas and shannon leigh honea face a number of charges after police say they found

pornography videos in their home. it shows children between the ages of 2 and 13 being abused. most of the children have not been identified. federal agents helping to find victims and they're asking anyone who has had contact with the couple to call. bail was denied for john nicklas and set for $5 million for shannon leigh honea. an investigation underway for a cyclist that was hit. you can see the damaged bicycle along with the crime chalk. the person was kill at the scene. left for dead. city paramedics misdiagnose a man shot in the head saying he was killed. live from the hospital where

the wounded man is treated. >> the man shot is in critical condition here at the hospital and the fire department who is in charge of all of the medical technicians promises a thorough investigation. a police officer shot the man in the head at this store after he say the man lung at him. paramedics determine he was dead. what happen next has raised serious question and it could lead to the medics losing their licenses and their jobs. >> the individual had signs compatible with life and he was pronounced and they return at the request of the police department because the victim manifest or gave signs to give them signs he was not expired.

involved. new information this evening on the story wjz was first to report last night at 5:00. the city's patrol division faces elimination. >> reporter: under the direction of city hall, the city police department is slashing their budget to save about $150,000 if they get rid of the horse unit. governor o'malley threw his support behind it. they say the horses help to reduce crime in the city. it's the oldest running unit in -- anywhere in the country. to save the horses look for the story under local news on wjz.com. heat restrictions on the marc train lines, trains must slow down because the heat can cause the track to warp. passenger trains must travel 25 miles per hour lower than the posted speed limit. after some relief

yesterday, the heat and humidity are back. what about the chance of thunderstorms? eyewitness news has weather and traffic. the chance for thunderstorms is back. this is not a wide-spread event but we have some thunderstorms out there. it's building and getting stronger. moving to the northeast at 25 miles per hour. you can see it really started to buildup around whitemarsh. we don't have any warnings but it's gaining some intensity. on the eastern shore moved its way out of maryland into delaware. also off to the west and the western shore here, the thunderstorms just started to form. there's some getting their act together. let's check on the roads with sharon gibala at wjz traffic control. >> reporter: overall, not doing

accuse of sexual abuse says she's accident. she was teaching in kentucky when the rumors began that she was having sex with a 15-year- old football player. now she's charged with sexual abuse and her trial is set for october and could face 1-5 years behind bars. a naked bandit in pennsylvania. the man caught on camera streaking from the scene of the crime. >>reporter: take a close look at this man. police say he broke into an apartment building at york road and a near by home. these are surveillance pictures of the suspect running away naked. he stole her laptop and went through the clothes. >> they said i think he went through your clothing. >> reporter: how does that make you feel. >> unsafe. >> it's highly unusual.

complete warping of severe weather. another summer-like day. >> stickier than yesterday and going to be worse tomorrow. showing you doppler radar, we have a few thunderstorms popped up in harford county. it's been building over the past half hour and you can see north, just to the south of bel- air, it's moving about 15-20 miles per hour. a quick downpour and gusty winds. we want to show you, a few patches on thunderstorms both in delaware just leaving maryland. there's one on the western shore, this is dying down. just some showers at this point. out to the west, a couple of thunderstorms making their way into the mountains.

possibly seeing more thunderstorms tonight in the mountains. for the rest of us, it will be dying down tonight and this is how it looked today. sunshine to start out. clouds building and spotty thunderstorms at this hour and will continue into the evening. what is going on? temperatures warming up, the next cold front coming our way, 88 in baltimore, 90 in d.c. 90 in ocean city and the heat index, it feels like 93 in d.c., 90s across the south and 90 in cumberland. 79 in oakland. winds out of ahead of the front. most will pass to the south. there's a lot of rain and a lot of damaging winds with this part of the thunderstorm. the front is going to pick up moisture about move our way. here's how it look, we've seen

reports of 6" of rain just in one hour in louisville, they had water all over the city, they had some water rescues going on and damaging winds associated with the thunderstorms coming through. that will pass off to the south but the front will draw some moisture our way for tomorrow. scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. could see one or two into thursday and a chance on friday. the forecast out on the waters, winds light through the day tomorrow. tonight, we're going down to about 68 degrees, a thunderstorm is possible. you've seen a couple but they'll be dying down. could see if next round and tomorrow, scattered showers and thunderstorms developing, warm day up to about 89 degrees. we're going up with those temperatures. it will be muggy through the forecast but bringing them down a little bit. we could start to see a warmup heading our way.

witnesses and suspects. a former maryland state senate accuse of attacking a woman inside his office. he's charged with attempted rape. they heard a woman screaming for help and found him holding her down. a massachusetts woman says she couldn't believe her eyes when she found her baby's picture on an adoption web site. it was a scam. >> reporter: she's trying to take control of a scam and find the person who stole her son's picture off of her family's blog. >> a woman who is stranger contacted us and let us know that someone was using the picture in a scam. >> reporter: she saw a baby up for adoption in africa.

when contacted, the scammer responded with the baby's picture. >> if you hover over the photograph, it gives the address from our site. she acted like a client. >> i contacted him and asked him to send me information about the baby that was available and about 6 hours later, he sent jacob's photograph with the same story. >> many states have cyber crime unit, these cases are difficult to track. >> they're not easy to trace. >> reporter: the sergeant is the webmaster. >> the best way to protect yourself, don't put anything out you don't want out there. pictures of yourself or relatives. >> she's alerted the fbi. >> i think that i'm not the

bob is here with the updated numbers. we have a few storms that have popped up. nothing in the city. to the northeast, around harford county, you folks getting a thunderstorm. it's going up route to 95. it will be in cecil county shortly. watch out for that down 95. another batch to the northwest of ocean city. if you're heading that way, look out for thunder and lightning. another cell across maryland, a bigger batch lined up all along the mountains. all the way down into virginia and portions of west virginia. i don't think we'll see that here but it's possible we have a chance of picking up an isolated shower, otherwise a quiet night but tomorrow looks

like things will get active. let's check in with sharon gibala. >> it's a quiet night on area roads and hoping that stay that way. two accidents, one on orchard road at richie highway. a second one at meadow veil road a pedestrian struck there. another one in the clearing stages. as far as drive time, there's your speed and your drive times. the topside is where we see any delay. 13 minutes between 18 and 45. there's a look at the topside at harford road. everything at full speed there. no issues on the west side. this report is brought to you by the out back steak house.

complete forecast and the first warning of severe weather. the humidity is coming back and it's back. >> temperatures tomorrow about the same as today but should be more humid tomorrow. this afternoon the dew point was up and started to come down. looking at the storm activity going around the region. to the west and the northeast, showers pop up around harford county. it's beginning to weaken up 95 and route 40. another little batch to the

west, moving north, northwest of ocean city. across the mountains, another batch diminishing. the strongest activity to the west of the valley there. around the baltimore region, it's quiet, probably will stay that way. tomorrow, things h change. looking at temperatures, 88 degrees right now. but the dew point has dropped. an hour ago, it was 86 degrees humidity 9 44% around the state, 85 ocean city and 86 in oakland and cumberland at 86 degrees. the winds now southwest primarily bringing in the warm air and that will be with us through tomorrow into portion of thursday before we see a bit of a change.

there's been tremendous range over ohio, kentucky, flooding in indiana, louisville, six inches in one spot in one hour. many areas here, 4-8-inches of rape will one thunderstorm after another moving through. this is going to head down to the south and the north and the east, it's a cold front crossing the region tomorrow and with that, a good chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms some could have heavy rain, thursday we think most of the activity is to the southeast. most of the city should be dried out. slight chance of a shower. winds in the bay, 5-10 knots. tonight, any showers and storms would be few and far in between. back up to the 80s, chance of a thunderstorm and some showers in the afternoon and evening some could bring some heavy rain as you see. thank you.
