cuts, the governor may be forced to slice another $200 million or more from the state budget. >> that could hit maryland hard. the cutting come weeks after the state slashed jobs. wjz is live where workers have been feeling the budget pain. good afternoon, mike. >> reporter: good afternoon. last time we were here we found dozens of workers scareed about the future of their jobs, no more cuts or layoffs are official. state workers are bracing for them based on estimates due out in a few days. 1000-$200 million may have to be trimmed from the budget.

the economy still in recession, sales tax and income tax revenues drop, nothing is official yet imcluing what if anything might be cut. previous statements, the governor weighs any cuts to minimize the pain. >> had a hard time sleeping and woke up much earlier and couldn't go back to sleep because i know at this point, now that we're cut, reduce spending by we're into things that affect real people in real ways. >> reporter: 200 jobs vanished along with vacant positions. others had to take days off without pay. >> it's terror, what can you do? >> it took a toll on city and county budgets with big reductions in spending for road projects and other services.

>> you have a job today and nontomorrow. the cuts are going from the state house to our house. >> the governor said the number was just a possibility, it's unknown at this point, it's determine by a panel that makes projections. it's $700 million in cuts to the state budget, that's since july. back to you. >> tough times, the governor has no advanced knowledge of the projection report. >> the president continues to push for health care reform talking from the white house. it comes a day after his nationally address to congress last night. leaders were skeptical of the plan. >> president obama is trying to keep the momentum going. >> we've talked the issue to death.

the president's remarks. wilson later apologized saying he let his emotions get the best of him. one say he never seen anything like wilson's out burst. >> a baltimore woman was able to see the president's speech in person. she has a chronic health condition that attacks her major organs, she has health insurance through her job at good marshall marshall. new numbers have been released that show more than 46 million americans are now uninsured. >> researchers have started testing the swine flu vaccine on pregnant women. they're testing on 120 women in their second or third

trimester. it comes after tests have been successful. >> a m maryland man accused of running a child prostitution ring. the 42-year-old faces five counts of child sex trafficking. they located 4 girls all who said lewis was their pimp. the it's been running since 2006. police have arrested a woman following a house fire if south baltimore. it happened in clintonwood court. investigators say the fire was set by a woman upset with a female owner of the house. the suspect was taken into custody. it's another day of overcast skies and cooler than normal temperatures. looking outside, some patches of blue and the sun is peeking through, there's several

spotty showers, nothing much to talk about and more on what it is triggering, back outside to marty. >> reporter: it's not necessarily the rain that is triggering this wind, it's obviously the low offshore. but i have the told you, the computer models i think were off the charts on this one, maybe because of the time of year out in the atlantic and just past history. the biggest problem now is this northeasterly wind. you kind of go all the way up to the mouth of the bay and what you're looking at is coastal flood advisories. wewe have coastal flood advisories and now talking about wind issue and i want to point out, point of rocks, because of possible rainfall, you may have a flooding issue. right now, it's more caution than fact, in fact, tim williams showing you more radar

looking at radar, a good bit of rain and a low pressure system off of the coast and spinning this back in our direction until you get to snow hill and over towards the middle of the bay, you don't see much activity, just some spotty showers here and there, but it's the direction of the win that brings us the advisories along the coast and along the shore. we'll keep an eye on this. looking at temperatures on the cool side, 66 degrees right now, 55 our dew points. humidity at 64% and the winds from the north at 16 miles per

hour, 73 on the shore. 65 in westminister and 66 in bel-air and 70 in the nation's capitol. the winds coming in from two features, high pressure kicking them in, and low pressure pushing them in from offshore. doesn't necessarily feel that breezy, but part of this dynamic dynamic. this is funneled in and we'll see water at times of high tide piling up on the western edges of the bay, it's going to be here through tomorrow or so before the high lets the low start to push on around it. it is probably going to be with us through saturday. we're going keep in the forecast, lingering clouds
