fasano, the tight end. got the first down, didn't get out of bounds. only have one time-out left with 1:25 left. canes are moved. it's the first down. fans -- they know there's not a quick strike here. they need every second they can get. pennington, look out. strip sack. ball is picked up by vernon parry, it was robert mathis who forced the fumble. so good at it. and the clock still runs. and miami -- we have an injury, an injury for the colts on the far side. let's see. time-out was called by miami and we have a colts' injury. let see what's going to happen here. how that's going to be called. officials are going to discuss that right now. >> ron: dolphins call the field. mathis coming off the edge.

straight after. >> jon: thing about mathis is when he gets to the passer, he causes a fumble. this guy goes for the sack, and the slip. mathis just caused his 27th fumble in the national football league. john, the defensive line coach of the colts, coaches going for the strip. that guy right there. mathis doesn't get enough credit. freeney, well deservedly gets a lot of it. that cat right interest is a pro bowl player. these two guys relentless and combined the two of them have caused 53 fumbles. forget about the sacks and that play right there was indianapolis colt football in their fourth quarter pass rush. >> mike: "sportscenter" gmc postgame show next. we had an interesting conversation with the referee t. theyy discussing what happened first. injury to the colts or time-out by the dolphins.

they termed it was time-out called by the dolphins which means miami has none left. injury cost you a time-out. it would have been automatically charged to indy. terry mcauley said we had the penalty time-out first before the injured colts player recognized in the field. second and 20 miami is done with time-outs. offside. on freeney. pennington. finds devon best at the 46. they'll decline the penalty a have third an about a yard. >> referee: offside, defense number 93. penalty's declined. third down. >> mike: gain of 18. >> ron: pennington did a nice job. there was outside pressure from freeney and matthew. stepped up from the pocket. made the best. freeney beat the snap count. a good punch there by jake long. play action fake. pennington did a nice job of reading the coverage, getting the ball on the out route.

>> mike: receiver went out of bounds. clock is stopped. 50 seconds left. now pennington got to get up and get moving.d this is the slowest two-minute drill i've ever seen. now the clock here on first down. guy, i don't know. that's -- >> jon: there's 36 seconds lef. you have no time-outs. you are going to have to push the football out. you are going to have to push the ball and be ready to clock it. run down there and kill it. very important that you preview these situations. pennington knows he can't talk a sack in this situation. but you got to get out of pou bounds, got to be prepared to clock it and you got to remember it's second down. >> ron: however the colts understand, you play thets boundary, got a chance to get down the middle. looks like they get into it
