hello everybody i'm dennis koch. >> and i'm vic carter. >> we're going to begin tonight with breaking news. four bodies have been found in a home. >> reporter: friends and family came to the home after not hearing from the family for several days. she called 911 because she looked in the house and saw a dead body. police are processing the scene, although they believe it'll be several days if not weeks before they can answer exactly what happened. dozens of detectives flood the block on north airy after they find four bodies at this home.

>> detectives went inside and found four people diseased. >> reporter: police are treating the case as a homicide investigation although they are not looking for any suspects. >> investigators and troopers do believe that the situation is contained to this home, we do not have any kind of active search on the way for someone who may have been responsible for this incident. >> reporter: police believe all four victims are part of the same family. although they have not made any positive identification. they say it's too soon to call this a murder suicide. but they are not ruling anything out. >> it's really sad, i think it's shocking, i never thought something like that would ever happen. >> reporter: the entire neighborhood has come out just to see what's going on. and after they found out what's going on, everybody is very shocked and very heartbroken because they call this family

his side after just last night he was able to fire his service weapon, hit the leg of oneof his attackers and help detectives make that arrest. an offer duty officer had been shot in the stomach and leg during an attempted robbery. by friday, police arrested craig tillet and cavon wilson both 16 years old. the two tried to rob detective aaron harris as he was coming home to this quiet neighborhood. >> it's been a great neighbor, he's been a good friends of mine. we've hung out socially. we've had things here, cook outs, over here and over there we took turns. it's really sad to hear what happened to him. >> if aaron harris is off that hospital bed today he would be out there leading the fight to go and get gun offenders off the street. that's what he does every day. >> he got hit in his left side, blood was coming out. and they say he chased the guys, he hit one of them in the

leg. and i thank god that he hit one of them in the leg. >> reporter: detective harris was brought here to synide hospital. also arriving here was a 16- year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his leg. that's how police found their first suspect. >> things have to change, gun offenders have to realize that enough is enough. and that they have to go to jail and stay in jail. >> i wish i could say i was surprised, it's been a couple of robberies. >> we don't know what to make of it. we just don't. it's kind of stunning, we don't know what to make of it. >> reporter: just last sunday, an off duty officer shot off his service weapon. the officer was not injured. bfl is not making a connection between the two. >> i don't think they knew he was a cop, but this tells us in a very personal way we still have a lot of work to do.

breathing, my heart was crushed. >> reporter: ernestine harbor talks about the first time she saw her niece destiny in the hospital. >> we were finally told she had h1n1. her heart stop, they resuscitate her. >> reporter: school officials say they are doing a thorough cleaning of the campus. dr.anne balowitz is with the city school department, she says it's crucial students both get the seasonal and h1n1 vaccine when it becomes available. >> h1 may well not last for the entire flu season. it may go down, and when it goes down the other types of flu may come up. so it's important to have both seasonal protection and h1 protection. >> reporter: vaccination clinics like this one are

popping up throughout baltimore. schools have seen an unusual high number of school absences this week. they are urging parents to keep sick kids home. wash hands frequently and be on alert. >> be more careful, sterilize everything, get the flu shot. this is nothing to sleep on, i never thought it would touch home so close. >> reporter: as for destiny, she's still sedated in intensive care. >> my sister screamed and hollered yesterday morning, she's back, she's back. it's just in my head that she's back. >> reporter: at the university of maryland medical center, i'm jessica cartalia, wjz eyewitness news. once again baltimore health first names hope to offer the h1n1 vaccine to every student. that vaccine is expected to be made available to help

officials in mid-october. another round of accusations as lawyers for sheila dixon try and get perjury charges dismissed for trials. this was in response to an argument filed by prosecutors earlier this week. dixon's team is trying to get charged that she lied on gifts given by her developer boyfriend. the denver man accused of making terrorist attack plans is in new york tonight. prosecutors say this tape shows zazi in a beauty supply store stockpiling supplies for homemade bombs. zazi denies being a terrorist, he'll have a hearing on tuesday. the summit g20 nation has wrapped up in pittsburgh with a promise of a new era of international and economic corporation.
