some special-needs person insides were having some difficulty. fire personnel are on the scene and transporting several people to lore local area hospitals. it appears that the collision was minor, but there is no word on how serious the injuries are at this point. it looks like fire personnel are clearing the scene momentary and transportation police have two toll lanes blocked. traffic southbound on i-95 is not significantly affected by this accident. >> thank you, captain mike perry. >> tonight baltimore city police are typicking to ask for your help in solving the leader in the community and a native i have liberia. >> reporter: denise, this man was murder at a community center he owned in the 4300 lock bloc of york road and now city police have released two

and a half under the direction of trimble. he and owner peter angelos were both tested in their resolve during the most recent 13-game losing streak, but felt it was the right thing to do to bring dave trembley back, saying that "dave earned it and deserved it." dave trembley excitemented about the news. we'll hear from him later on in sports. now to the football, the ravens have a big game ahead, getting ready to take on the new england patriots. people across the nfl are pointing to the ravens as the best team in the league. that is a position that has traditionally been hold for the past keckade by new england, hence, building up the hype for this one. the raven's practice, trying to block out the hype, focused on slaying the patriots. new england is a model

. police say they have overwhelming evidence against acy deputy accused stealing money meant for informants. the latest on what was found during the search of detective lunsford kara gormley county home. >> reporter: the deputy, a member of federal drug task force lived in a sprawling carroll county neighborhood. the fbi conducts a search of the officer's home as is he charged with taking kickbacks from a drug informant and new wjz learns that they found a

lot of evidence inside, including $46,000 in cash. >> we fled to always be aware of the risk, that people are going to be greedy and corrupt and take advantage of opportunities, particularly where they have discretion over money. >> reporter: lunsford is charged with threat of, stealing an aexpensive watch from an alleged drug-dealer and many other expensive watches turn up in the search of his home. also they confiscated a leafy substance from a bag, viols of liquids and needles. deputy lunsford said "there is a legitimate explanation that does not involve illegal activity and hopefully the truth will come out in court." the case against the drug detective comes about when an informant tells him that lunsford has given him money, but taken back half in cash. a wiretap captured "me and you

compared to where it's been. we have shower activity out to the west of us. not heavy at all through martinsberg and haggerstown. i mean very light. very, very light stuff. take a look at the satellite picture real quick and you can see what is going on. we have an area of low pressure that is across the great great lakes and you can see it there and it's moving primarily to the north and northeast right now thru see it, all to the west and showers and thundershower, believe it or not, over portions of the midwest. most of the active is going to pass through our north and northwest and looks like light showers overnight tonight and maybe a few showers on saturday morning as we take a look at the forecast map across the country we have got a weak frontal system passing across the midwest and eventually it will bring us showers late tonight and during the day

tomorrow. only in the morning, but by afternoon things clear out and looks like a much better day than we thought. so at least half the weekend looking pretty good right now. up in massachusetts, a little rain saturday and saturday night and by sunday, it should clear there as well. look at forecast for the bay tomorrow, a southeast wind at 10 to 15 knots and small-craft advisory and bay temps 6 degrees and partly cloudy skies. overnight tonight, looks like we're seeing clouds and maybe a bit the light rain overnight, but 59 degrees and look ahead to tomorrow. sunshine, but by afternoon, maybe a little bit of rain later on, but otherwise, turning out to be a nice day. maybe if we get a .10", maybe .25th in spots, that is going to do it. a nice start to the first weekend of october and the ravens in massachusetts.

his bulletproof vest was shattered. >> the officer was treated for injuries. the largest ever cocaine seizure in baltimore city results in a 20-year sentence for the man trying to stel. police found 90 counts in the black of this man's truck. murphy who has four children asked the judge for mercy and apologized to the court for what he did. sentencing guidelines called for 24 to 30 years in prison. when then 14-year-old elizabeth smart was taken from her bedroom and helped captive for nine months it drew international attention and now she finally reveals the details of her horrible kidnapping. >> reporter: on thursday, she told her story in court for the first time. smart said that mitchell hiked

up three miles up a canyon, where he and his wife had set up camp. he came and performed a ceremony, which was to marry me to him, smart testified and after that, he proceeded to rape me. u.s. attorney, how often did you rape you? on a daily basis,um to three or four times. smart says mitchell forced her to take drug and alcohol and used religion as a rationale and turned to her and said "the lord has told me to do this." there were certainly a lot of things that i have never heard before, and i had no idea what she had gone through so much out there. >> reporter: smart's testimony comes as a judge tries to determine if mitchell is competent to stand trial on federal kidnapping charges. he has twice been ruled incompetent by a state court.
