embarrassment she caused. two suspects wanted in a shooting and killing of a local business owner. the murder ser is violent and 40 year-old lee martin was ambushed and shot nine times outside his home and business. martin was still alive when medics arrived. he died later at john hopkins. witnesses saw two men running away from the scene. martin was a good man and took over the tavern from a relative. police are asking anybody with information to contact them or call metro crime stoppers 1-866-7-lockup, crime stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2000. autopsy investigation underway today in the death of a 6 week old baby boy. arundel county boy say the infant was found unresponsive inside a home on edge rock way

it's caught on tape. the 60-foot pine tree lands on top of a colorado springs family's garage. they called the fire department, then it comes down. they said the fire department said the tree is not safe. the family just finished moving their cars out of the the garage when the tree went down nmpleghts the health watch, the largest pediatricians group is relaxing its stance on swimming lessons for young children. in the past the american academy of pediatrics said swim classes might give kids under 4 and parents a false sense of security. now they say studies indicate swimming lessons may prevent child drowning. also, vaccines are essential to protect children, when is the right time to get the shots.

severe storms this the plain bring large tornados to kansas. storm chasers take the twisters, the area was hit with hail and high wind gusts. forecasts are worried about flash flooding. here our weather is much better. you spent time out there. fortunately we are not dealing with that around here. what we have is couple of showers lingering from the weekend storms. i want to show you the doppler radar. mainly over the eastern shore, they are forming and moving westward and heading over to baltimore county. what we are seeing with this area, west of salisbury, maybe

around elliot, a thundershower going on. that's about it. north of that, few spotty showers, henderson, denton, chester town. these are scattered up through the pennsylvania border. book, let's show you overnight we had rain, drizzle this morning and clouds trying to lift a little bit and mix for sunshine this afternoon. but that gave way to a few showers popping up. the winds have been out of the east. when you get west of the state you start to turn. they are rotating around the center of the storm which is now south of us. with the winds rotating counter clockwise, this is the direction they are taking. temperature wise, pretty mild. 76 degrees in baltimore. 77 in dc. this is really the factor today. all of us have been talking about with our hair, it's muggy. dew points in the 60s. they will be straight through

the next couple of days. managed high of 76 today. that's on par with average. look at where we started out. it's going be another warm one. the center i was discussing. off to the south, see also offmore, additional round of clouds. that is associated with yet another storm system that's not only watched by us but the national hurricane center for development. this doesn't have the true characteristics, so what they are thinking, if it forms it could be called a subtropical depression, the center is right in here, you can see most of the thunderstorms are east of, that it's not very well formed and it's really working against cool water for this time of year. this could become a named system in the next few days if it were to happen it would be alex and factor in to our forecast. the other thing we are watching

with that happening offshore to the south is the sun coming out tomorrow and heating up on wednesday and then a cold front coming from the north thursday in to friday. the cold front will bring thunderstorms with it thursday and friday and eventually take what've is forming out to sea as we head through the weekend. with the tropical system it will mess up the weather pattern and something we have to monitor closely. we are going to see fog form overnight. and with the fog that will lead to clouds in the morning. temperature wise, down to 63 degrees. tomorrow after those morning clouds mix of sunshine, getting up to 79. muggy one tomorrow. wait until you see the temperatures for wednesday. we jump up to close 90 degrees. really going to feel like summer on wednesday and thursday before that cool air returns behind the front for the weekend. couple of hot days ahead. >> i like the hot weather. i will be smiling.

incidents of bullying. three are suspended after a girl come plains of excessive bullying. she was beaten by three other students. >> you can't put a band-aid over it and think it's going go aey. >> reporter: the next step for leaders statewide is preventing it. katie o'malley signed on to help. >> all kids know what it is. getting them to be aware of when it's happening and what to do, not to be quiet. >> reporter: she says kids who bully needs help too. >> they have issues. they are insecure. >> reporter: last school year nearly 1700 cases of bullying were reported around the state. some school leaders say that number maybe higher because students are just too afriday to come forward. >> it's a serious thing. you have to deal wit. >> reporter: se he is a 6th

mike perry is over the scene of a fire. >> reporter: bell air at frankfort with a stove fire, this occurred in a restaurant actually on bell air road, south of frank fort avenue. firefighters are vent ventilating the roof. there is no word on injuries. apparent lay fire suppression system in the chimney area of the stove it is not working properly. as you can see fire made it through the roof at this point. we will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated as the situation develops. the father of a man killed in a mine wants the company

sued. the son was one of 29 workers killed in the big branch mine. he told a committee today he sends out radio alerts that a man is on the property when inspectors arrived. it will head of the federal mine safety and health administration says the allegations are under investigation and the justice department confirms it's looking to possible criminal charges now. the west virginia explosion is the nation's worst mining disaster in 40 years. fender bender can happen to anyone, even a former u.s. president. clinton was riding in an suv when the vehicle was hit from behind on the parkway. police say the traffic was backed up from a previous accident when a driver behind the former president failed to stop in time. clinton called it a fluke and
