take a look, we have an interesting graphic. back in 2006, there was a race going on in baltimore city there was a 25% voter turnout. right now as after 4:45:00 p.m. this year, only an 8.5 in baltimore city. they're hoping that it's just after 5:00 that the voter turnout will go up. >> thank you for reporting live. a murder investigation underway in baltimore county, that's where police say they found a man dead in his home police found a man in an apartment unit in mill brooke.

there are three now, the newest one, this is igor, it is way out there moving to the west slowly at 8 miles per hour, it's gain some strength since the last update. here's julia, julia is still pretty far out this and it's going to avoid most of land and then there's one more, this is our newest one, this is carl. we haven't gotten all of the information in, winds are 40 miles per hour, it's moving northwest and the general track with carl takes it over the pensacola and towards the same area, either northern parts or extreme southern parts of texas. it's expected to keep strengthening and could be a hurricane before making the land fall. we'll keep you updated in a little bit. >> the ravens start the season with a w, people are still

when convenient stores are robbed, thieves usually go after cash, in anne arundel county, they're going after gas, specifically diesel fuel. they have made off with well over a thousand gallons so far >>reporter: if you watch the numbers roll, you know what a fill up can cost, but this store is paying the price for an illegal fill-up >> suspects were able to steal

diesel fuel from underground valued at over $2000. over 700 gallons were taken from underground. >> it's not known if surveillance cameras caught the thefts, they speculate it would take a large pickup truck pulling a tank or a trailer and some knowledge of which cover to pop to gain access and the 1500 gallons of stolen diesel >> if it's not known if they're using it or selling it to someone else >> things like construction equipment, combines and track torrs and trucking. that's a lot of possible customers >> we don't have suspects, we're working closely with the business and run checks in the area to monitor it. >> reporter: looking for those who don't pay full price.

was shot here or somewhere else. police are looking for a black honda and not clear how the vehicle is related to the shooting. they are closed martin luther king boulevard at pennsylvania avenue as police continue the investigation and at this point all we know is an adult male has been shot. >> in the report, researchers may be closer to create a blood test that can identify alzheimer's disease. they look for a number of bio markers in the blood that has been associated with alzheimers. it was accurate 80% of the time. more research is needed to perfect the test. playing fast-paced video games may have a benefit. they have better decision- making

skills. researchers tested those who didn't play the game, they reacted 25% slower than those who did play the game. reports say that more students are having trouble paying off their college loans. the department of education says in 2008 more defaulted on their loans the number of students attending community college skyrocketed 40% in 3 years. it comes as a time when the budget has been slashed by millions of dollars. makeshift parking lots are set up on the grass.
