mask. jurors found two of them, mcgannee and jerome williams guilty of killing harris along with a slew of gun charges. harris' widow. >> this will not bring him back, so this is something we have to live with for life. >> i would have thought if they found him not guilty of the felony murder then they would have found him not guilty of the felonies attached to the murder. i guess not. >> reporter: prosecutors relied heavily on dna evidence included those found on the discarded dna mask. and the case was a bittersweet victory for pat jessamy. >> this is a message to the criminals of baltimore city that they can just not get away with murdering someone and think that they are going to walk away free. >> reporter: attorneys for all

of the defendants vowed to appeal the verdict. >> they ultimately agreed on a verdict but i do think that some of the jurors in their heart of hearts were not satisfied with the outcome. >> reporter: the jurors said little as they left the courthouse, one said she's glad it's over. the mayor has called harris a sincere public servant. mike hellgren,wjz eyewitness news. the mayor called for a city wild moment of silence today in harris' honor. and a woman is killed by a hit and run driver. hours later police find the driver they believe is responsible passed out behind the wheel. wjz is live, kelly mcpherson has more on the charges that suspect is facing and reaction from the columbia family who must live now without their daughter. kelly-- >> reporter: the driver left the scene and the only reason police were able to track her down is that a bicyclists got on his bike and went after the

suv to write down the license plates and give it to police. >> she was happy, she was a happy person. she just seemed to make everything okay because we all loved and adored her. >> reporter: francis ryan is devastated after her daughter kyla was killed by a drunk driver. police have charged jordina davisson with voluntary manslaughter. this is her turning herself in friday morning. davis' black lexus hit ryan throwing her 26 feet in the air into a parked car. the victim's mother thanks a passer by who went after the suv to get the license plate. >> for the young man who got on the bicycle and tracked this lady down after she did this horrendous thing and just ran, like a coward and left my baby laying on the side of the road. >> reporter: kyla ryan lives here in columbia, she was in dc

law. >> reporter: the fear is with so many foreclosures on hold, the housing market will now be clogged up with homes homes that can't be bought or sold. the foreclosure freeze comes as new numbers are released from the baltimore area home sales in september, the number of homes sold dropped 19% from the same month last year. allegations tonight against an anne arundel star athlete. downie is one of three men charged with assaulting and robbing a 16-year-old. it happened in glen burney. also charged mcgee and heart. the victim tried to stop the get away car and was dragged. he is expected to be okay. a rescue effort is paying off and marylanders are getting the credit. it's the latest khaptder in a
