a show of support for an arrested executive and this may not be the last twist in the case. i'm adam may and more arrests in the corruption probe of jackson and his wife. tonight, he gets support here in baltimore. derek valcourt is live where another politician and his congregation are praying for johnson. >> reporter: they're praying for him regardless of his guilt or innocence in what's the biggest political scandal in maryland this year. >> reporter: to some, it doesn't look good for jack johnson. >> if it were true, it would be horrible.

you let down someone you trusted >> reporter: they were arrested friday and their home was raided by the fbi moments after a wiretapped conversation and the fbi discussed a check from a developer as agents were knocking on their door. she said, do you want me to flush it and he said, yes, flush that. and moments later, the fbi says they discussed $80,000 in cash and he allegedly told her to hide it in her bra. this could be linked to the metro station in a separate civil case. >> i'm innocent of these charges and i just can't wait for the facts to come out. >> reporter: the facts will land him in court, for now, it's church where he's getting support. >> reporter: this delegate and

his congregation spent sunday in prayer. >> and i'm in the media and some are saying that this is going to hurt the county and the business in the county. he's a friend. a friend sticks closer than a brother and for that reason, we dedicated the beginning of the service to him and his wife. >> reporter: while some prayed for health, others for justice. >> we hope he would be prosecuted if he's guilty and have to serve a punishment. >> reporter: the u.s. attorney for maryland says this is the tip of the ice burg in this corruption probe. there will likely be more arrests and charges to be filed in the days to come, potentially even this week. we're live in northwest baltimore. and we'll keep a close eye on it and be sure to stay with wjz-13 and wjz.com for coverage of the executive arrested. we'll lot you know when there

are more arrests in the case. a newborn baby church was left in a duffel bag in a church and someone found the girl this morning and the girl was only there alone for a few minutes and they're trying to find who left the little girl there. meanwhile, a surprising twist for the search of four missing people in ohio. this afternoon, the police found a 13-year-old being held hostage inside a house. she was in the basement of a home. you saw the picture of the suspect. the family is still missing and this gives the police hope they'll find the others alive just like sara. a sniper with a b.b. gun started shooting near warren road bridge today. one was hurt when flying glass hit them in the eye.

another teen killed on the streets of baltimore, a 19-year- old was stabbed last night near patterson park. last night, this was breaking news. he died overnight and the police have arrested someone for that murder. and taking a look here. this was a stabbing here. they stabbed a man in the back after getting into an argument after a fight. the police also arrested another teen and a man stabbed is said to be okay. and a police officer uses his car to make sure that a suspect doesn't get away. he hit a teen riding his bike this morning and after trying to arrest the teen, he hurt his leg a little bit when the officer hit him, but he's already out of the hospital. we're seeing more fatal accidents between cars and bicyclists and now, the

cyclists are getting a bill of rights. >> reporter: last summer, this 69-year-old decided to run errands on his bike. >> he left and he yelled over his shoulder, if i'm later than an hour, i'll call. >> reporter: that call never came. a box truck broad sided him and killed him. it's the scene that the city wants to avoid, last week, the city council members approved a council bill of rights. and they had a right to travel safely and free of fear. >> reporter: the bicyclists aren't second class citizens. they're up there with zoom zoom. >> reporter: he's been hit before and he runs baltimore bike works and the shop put the bill of rights on the website and he says that a 12 point list of rights is a step that could baltimore on par with

a horrific crash and five are killed on a california highway. a speeding honda went into on coming traffic as a driver tried to pass motorcycles. he crashed into the group and the police arrested the driver of the suv on suspension of dui. >> and they're finally free. a british couple was held hostage for the past year. they were kidnapped in october of 2010 when sailing in the indian ocean. today, they met with the smell january prime minister and -- somalian -- somalian prime minister. and tonight, president obama is back at the white

house after a ten day tour of asia. this is the longest trip he had in asia. and the trips were mostly successful, but he trade to reach a free trade deal with south korea. he'll have a showdown with the republicans this week also. with the holidays fast approaching, many are keeping an eye on gas prices. aaa will soon release the thanksgiving travel projection. >> reporter: the factors are adding up and there are more reasons than not for the gas prices to go up >> the national average is about 23 cents more than a year ago and here in maryland, motorists are paying more than a year ago. >> reporter: one reason, the crude oil is flirting with the $90 a barrel mark. and consumers will see an increase in gas price.

sitting here talking about the holidays. we had a beautiful day today and in the midwest, they got a lot of snow. yeah, that's right, making it's mark into the states. >> is it getting close. >> well, we've had some in western maryland and there's a chance we could have more in western maryland. for the rest of us, we'll have a cool down. it will come in a few different steps, and today, none of those problems. this is where we topped out today. still above the average of. degrees. and we're still mild and the winds are to the south east and a cold front is making its way in. the cold front, if you were with us yesterday, it was stronger and more to it and it had more in the way of snow. and look at this -- we're seeing clouds and showers in the western part of the state and partly cloudy skies for the

rest of us and we could see the clouds increase to the west of us. look at how this is breaking apart. it's lifting to the north east, it's skirting the state. spotty showers tonight and clouds for the rest of us and it pulls out of here and here's another storm moving our way. this is going to bring in more rain and we could have more rain on tuesday. the rain will pick up into the afternoon house and the center of the storm gets close. it will stake until monday morning for it to get out of here and when it does, we'll connect to the cooler air and we'll then head into the second half of the week. and the forecast comes together like this. on the water, turning to the east at five to ten knots and nice forecast and 41 degrees and partly cloudy otherwise and the clouds are breaking up into the day tomorrow. we'll get back up to 60 degrees and another mild one and then,

the next storm coming our way and it's not until that storm wraps up and pulls out of here that it will connect. and we'll have a chance for a shower or two and we have flurries thursday night into friday and here comes the cooler air into the weekend. and thank you, it's the season for flu shots.
