there this morning, especially on the water and the southeastern -- eastern shore. >> i want to look at the first warning weather first. we came on the air an hour and ten minutes ago. we noticed the shower north of the mason-dixon line. now, i'm seeing an interesting day start. now, i'm seeing the shower activity and again, some of this could be a loft, down over the western shore of southern maryland. i want to change the scans here. i'm going to the true doppler out of sterling, virginia. this is closer to southern maryland than we are. you see, there's not a lot out there. the light moisture is straddling the mason-dixon line and then, we'll go back to the mosaic. it's showing moisture aloft and it's a clear indication that the atmosphere is juicy this morning. >> and we'll look at the day

part. and we'll show, the clouds are mile and clearing skies and 59 at lunch and 60 degrees. and heaven -- thisevening,, 54 and showers at bedtime. >> sharon's got fog on the traffic cams, too. and we have fog warnings on the area bridges an the accident's been there and it's still blocking lanes in jet sup. closed in both directions there, take washington boulevard instead. we have fog warnings out this morning. and we're also looking at fog warnings in effect on the bay bridge traveling on route 50. taking a live look outside, that's 95 north of white marsh,

year of his term and his wife was just elected to the county council. if convicted, they could each face 20 years in prison. for more on the charges and the investigation itself, go to wjz.com. a pasadena teen is charged in the shooting death of a glen burnie man. the 17-year-old is charged with first degree murder stemming from the robbery and shooting from mr. wing's friday night. anyone with information, call the police. baltimore city police are searching for a man in connect of a stabbing near patterson park. he was stabbed late saturday night on south east avenue. one was killed over the weekend with gun fire and five others were wounded in six other incidents.

overcoming the odds for the first time and this morning, jessica kartalija reports that she's not your typical beauty queen. >> reporter: good morning, everyone. she had never entered a pageant before and after years of being teased by her peers, she never expect to end up where she is today. [ cheers and applause ] >> it's a girl's dream come true. >> reporter: a beautiful dress, a sparkling crown and the title of miss teen usa. >> i'm the first miss teen usa. it's a great accomplishment for me. >> reporter: she's not a typical beauty queen, she won on her first try. >> i got far and it's huge for me and the pageant community for someone to come and win. it's not impossible because

it's not your first one. >> reporter: she dealt with the same tough times that most girls face will have people were mean and did terrible things to me. >> reporter: bullies teased her about her weight and hair. >> i used to suffer every night for years because i didn't have that confidence. >> reporter: using her mother as a role model, she gained confidence and she just graduated. at 17 years old, she's going to the university of alabama and then to medical school. as the oldest of five girls, she's paving the way for her sisters. >> i'm like the guinea pig and my mom's watching me going to college and high school. i have to do it first and i get in the most trouble and everything. >> reporter: what are the biggest challenges that teens your age face?

>> high school is a crazy time and you have to be focused. >> reporter: how can you use your story to inspire others. >> i speak to inner city schools and i talk to them about having the right confidence and believing in themselves. >> reporter: she never imagined she would walk the runway, but she's anxious to be a role model. >> reporter: how can you help the younger generations. >> well, for me, it's really being a positive influence in these people's lives. and as a african american young girl, you can do anything. >> reporter: i'm jessica kartalija, wjz-13 eyewitness news. and she's currently living in new york city as where she performs her duties as miss teen usa and next year, she'll go to university of alabama.

and it's still foggy. sharon has the latest on delays and marty's in the first warning weather. let's look at the graphic indeed, now, east of the bay, we have a dense fog advisory for the next couple of hours. we'll have partly sunny skies by midday and now, we'll go to a high of 60, don. school advisories are on the bottom of the screen. and now, bridge advisories. we have accidents approaching north avenue and exit 6 and meantime, police activity at falls road. we have fog warnings on the bridges including 95.

girl bound and gagged in the basement we've located and rescued the 13 -year-old. >> reporter: the police arrested the 30-year-old and charged him with kidnapping. there >> they're running the crime labs and vehicles an they've been here ever since. >> reporter: the investigators are looking for the girl's ten- year-old brother and her mother and her mother's friend. all four disappeared when. she was reported missing when she department show up for work. and police found blood in her home they located her pick upstruck near a campus thursday night and locked down the school. the investigation lead the police to this man's house ten miles away where they found sara. we don't know if he's really connected to the family or whether he connected himself to the family. >> the sheriff says that the house is within walking distance of the victim's home.

he has a prior conviction of arson in colorado. and one neighbor says he threatened her son. >> he's a weird do. he was. and sara is in good condition and talking to the police. >> we're optimistic, we're trying to remain optimistic. the community's helping for the search for the three still missing. >> he'll be in court later on this morning for a bond hearing. back here, a dangerous situation near the lock raven reservoir. and one person was injured yesterday afternoon after being hit in the eye with flying glass and another was hit on the leg. and in all, two of three vehicles have been struck. county executive is now an accused felon. jack johnson and his wife were
