we're -- nicely. we're in 81 degrees in baltimore and 76 in westminster and 77 in kent island and annapolis. now, today is an in between day before more heat moves our way. for more, we'll go to tim in the out back. >> reporter: it's really going to move our way when it comes here. high pressure is building into the area. today, what the difference is is that there's not a lot of humidity. the dew point is low. it's comfortable. tomorrow, well, things will change. the heat is going to go up. the humidity is going to be a little low. it's all going to start to go up together. the heat and the dew points hand in hand. for a little bit more on how that plays out, we'll have the complete first warning forecast in a few minutes. the university of maryland baltimore county is getting back to business after days without power.

a nice place to be is on the wear -- water. we have comfortable temperatures. we're at 81 in baltimore and the dew points are in the 50s. it's comfortable outside. this is going to change. enjoy the numbers now. 76 in westminster and 81 in columbia. the winds are light out there. they're generally around to the north east. they'll change throughout the day. tomorrow, they'll turn down to the south and this is where the air is coming from. it's in the 90s in memphis and 80s in kansas city. these are the record highs this afternoon and we have a lot of moisture and the dew points will be highier and there's a lot of humidity where this is coming from. this is all moving in our direction.
