residents should get details and hear updates on the death toll. the largest loss of life in the military in two years. five american troops lost their lives in a bomb attack today in iraq. joel brown has more from washington. >> reporter: five american service members were killed in eastern baghdad this morning. security officials say that rockets slammed into a base where americans were working as advisers. it's the single most largest loss of life in the past two years. monday's blast was one of seven. west of baghdad, the home of a police officer was destroyed by a bomb. four were killed. in tikrete, a suicide bomber detonated a car at a check point, killing six. it was the second attack in

weeks, this closure is going to greet drivers. it's a short stretch of road that could cause long delays. orange and white cones and bump per to bump -- bumper to bumper traffic. city leaders are closing the streets here for the next two weeks to make way for the baltimore grand prix. it's a new event for baltimore's old streets. the city says that that kind of work takes time. anything could go wrong. >> if it's underground work -- you want to alleviate damage to the infrastructure under the surface. >> reporter: conway street was shutdown this morning at 5:00 a.m.. the detours and delays aren't just for drivers. >> they blocking it off.

an accident in chicago injures 20 people. the expressway involved two other cars. police say that the two vehicles collided in front of the bus causing the bus to hit a vehicle and the median. the accident is now under investigation. missing for days, the police in bloomington, indiana are searching for a missing college student. she was seen friday morning walking to her apartment.
