definition is too rigid leaving victims few options to seek justice, a major part of the fbi chain moved to change it. the head is here in baltimore. the fbi is moving to change the federal definition of rape which critics blasted as archaic. rape has been defined as forcible male penile penetration of a female. a member of the law enforcement vivary panel baltimore police commissioner spoke about a revision in washington this week. >> it's one of the most under reported crimes here and nationally. because women are often ashamed and afraid to confront their attackers, we must do everything to do everything to make sure they feel safe.

police say groups of men are impersonating officers to get inside homes and robbing them. the latest case happened yesterday morning when three men broke in to the in the 2800 block of hill endale and yelled police, hay handcuffed a man and shot him in the face when he tried to escape. he is listed in stable condition. >> individuals without a history of criminal offenses, no prior contacts with police, police officers will not randomly break down your door and announce a raid. >> the intruders had items carried by police, beamings, police logo jackets and more. dark badges, police logo jackets and more. >> one arrest has been made in the series of cases. police are warning about molotov cocktails thrown in to homes. there have been nine such fire bombings, all thrown through first floor windows when the homeowners were inside asleep. no injury or property damagery

the american student jailed in italy could be walking free. attorneys for both sides in the amanda knox appeal got one last rebuttal. she was convicted of murdering her roommate in 2007 and sentenced to 26 years in prison. her lawyers say she was wrongfully accused and they are confident her conviction will be overturned. >> this is a decision that has to be rectified. >> on monday, knox will address the jury whose verdict could come later that day.
