sex crimes following the baltimore sun they found the city was number one in unfounded rape reports meaning the incident did not occur and there was a staggering 80% drop in rape. they reclassified from founded to unfounded and specialized a sex offense unit and since they increased nearly 70%. experts expect a similar increase in the number of sexual assault cases if rape is redefined across the country. the task force includes the police commissioner who will meet in october about a revision. a fire burning for more than an hour at the plant is finally out. sky chopper was over the scene to call for the fire of the building as it goes out just after 12 today. an employee was able to escape on his own and nobody was hurt.

survival story from california, a 65-year-old man is trapped in a ravine after his car falls. >> reporter: david was trapped in a mountainous ravine after his car plunged 200 feet, he managed to survive on creek water and whatever he could find to eat before crews pulled him to safety. >> his vehicle landed near another car that apparently went over the same road in los angeles that driver did not survive. >> he went off and landed next to a vehicle that had been there a lot longer than he was down there. >> reporter: he underwent surgery to be repaired and he also has a broken arm and multiple fractured ribs. >> it is astonishing he did as well as he did. when the store became apparent
