sex on school property. viral video of acts involving a 14-year-old girl. >> tonight outrage from the young girl's father and what city schools are doing about it. >> hello everybody. this is what people are talking about. >> a sex tape recorded on school property spreads like wild fire on the internet. tonight the father of the girl videotaped speaks only to wjz. she cease live. megan has more on this case. megan. >> reporter: tonight baltimore

city police are investigating that video that's gone viral. the father of that 14-year-old girl said she never knew it was all over the internet. >> a sexually explicit act on baltimore city school property involving a student as young as 14 and it's all over the internet. we blurred the video to protect those involved. >> she was bullied harassed into doing this. >> the father of the girl involved says she didn't know she was being taped now he wants to know why facebook, twitter and youtube allowed it to remain posted for 4 days. >> they did nothing to protect my daughter. and i'm furious, i mean, any parent would be. >> other parents outraged when they saw the tape. >> i can't believe it. >> i was shocked. i thought it was terrible. i thought it was appalling and i wander what's going on with the young ladies. >> all of the teenagers involved are students here at

douglas high school, but school officials say the incident didn't happen here. it happened after school outside a building not used for instructional purposes. they say in the meantime city schools are working with the families of the students allegedly involved in the incident to make sure they receive the support they needs. the girl's father hopes someone pays for this. >> i hope he gets some serious time-out of this. >> reporter: and a teenage girl has transferred out of that high school. megan, wjz eyewitness news. >> thank you, megan. baltimore city police are working with school officials in its ongoing investigation. ohio city turns into a big game more than 50 animals are let loose from a wild life preserve. the search for the last wild creature just came to an end.

>> reporter: the all night hunt that began tuesday extended into wednesday. almost 50 animals were shot and killed, bears, wild cats, wolves and obama boons turned the sleepy town of ohio upside down. >> we live there, and there's a bear and lion out. >> there's a bear and lion out. >> right behind us. >> yeah, bear right here. >> the animals were freed from their cages by their owner terry who then took his own life. police said they had no choice but to take the animal down. >> it's a tragedy for the animal world is what it is. it could have been a bigger tragedy for the human world. >> reporter: the sheriff's department was criticized for not using tranquilizers. but officials feared those animals would escape into the darkness and regain consciousness. >> we could not have animals

running loose in this county. >> reporter: authorities won't speculate why the animals' owner terry thompson killed themselves or why he opened their cages. he had several run ins with the law included animal related complaints. he reached out to another farmer a while ago to help him better care for his animals. >> he must have lost it. that's the long and short of it. >> reporter: six animals were captured alive and taken to the zoo. in ohio danielle nottingham wjz eyewitness news. a snow monkey is still unaccounted for. they're confident the animal was dead. it's believed the monkey was eaten by one of the escaped cats. some new information about what caused the tainted cantaloupes. government investigators say they found corroded equipment and pools of water potentially harboring the bacteria at the packing facility. the fda also says the way the

cantaloupe was stored may have helped the listeria grow. the tainted fruit is now blamed for 25 deaths, include tag of a maryland man. disbelief and heart break today as missing 11-year-old is found murdered. here is key evidence in the case against the stepfather. >> reporter: the murder of 11- year-old william has shaken loved ones and strangers to their cores. >> the murder of his mom was of course enough, but to take the little boy with him is almost incredible. >> reporter: flowers and pictures line the memorial near where police found his body along with football and personal messages from the sixth graders classmates. >> he was greatest most cheerful child in the entire world, entire world. there's no reason that this should have ever happened to him. >> william's stepfather is accused of killing him. police believe lopez beat

williams' mom jane and stabbed her to death before plotting to murder the little boy. wjz have learned they obtain obtained -- it shows a playful williams smiling as does another video of the two at storage unit. minutes after it was captured he would be dead. >> we prayed a lot. it's hard -- it feels like a piece of innocence lost. >> reporter: days before the murder a friend claims he fought with his mom so much she feared for her life. many can't simply understand how someone could do something souffle. >> who could do this to like william. who could do this to some kid. >> reporter: lopez fled to north carolina where he was arrested. police are not saying at this point when he'll return to maryland citing safety

concerns. wjz eyewitness news. police tell us they will charge lopez with murdering william once he's back in maryland. the doors of apple stores closed temporarily today so employees could remember the visionary who created their company. memorial was held at the companies headquarters in california and broadcast live to apple stores around the world. jobs' apple founder died earlier this month after battling cancer. he was 56 years old. deplorable case of animal hording, close to 100 cats some of them sick and dying seized from a woman's home. they speak to the neighbors who tipped off authorities. >> reporter: animal control told us that conditions inside the house were so bad they had to call in a hazmat team. some neighbors don't think the woman did anything wrong. 82 cats seized from inside this one home. >> i think everybody knows about the smell, any time we went by there was a smell.

>> reporter: we spoke with one neighbor who didn't want to be identified. >> the cats being everywhere, going to the bathroom everywhere and the state that the cats were in i think were the biggest problem. >> reporter: inside the house animal control said conditions were so bad, hazmat team had to be called in to remove the animal. >> it required anyone to remove -- >> the cats are staying at a shelter as authorities investigate the owner for animal cruelty. they say one cat had to be put down and the others -- >> many of them had wounds of unknown origin. many are flee infested. >> reporter: they were called out here because of reported complaints, some anyones are upset about what happened and rallying behind the homeowner. >> they called her the cat lady. >> reporter: do you think she's been made out to be a villain? >> big time, big time, yes.

it's 71 degrees and mild. the weather forecast is coming up. a bizarre death on the streets of washington, d.c. police say a man was killed after he was struck by a falling tree branch. it happened early this morning on adamsville road. the 35-year-old was found by his landlord pronounced dead at the hospital. district's public works department says an inspection of the tree determined it wasn't safe. the search for baby lisa goes inside the kansas city home where the 10 month old was

last scene. they obtained a search warrant for the property. they received digging in the backyard and leaving with bags of potential evidence. the little girl's mother admit today drinking heavily on the night the 10 month old disappeared t. family was not allowed in the house during the search. the philadelphia house of horrors may have many more victims. a dozen more people were taken. police believe they are victims of the same group accused of keeping four mentally disabled adults captive in a basement. they say it was part of a fraud scheme to cash the victim's disability checks. a fourth person was arrested today. she was identified as the daughter of the alleged ring leader. the case may be one of the first ever prosecutorred as a -- prosecuted federal hate crime. soccer player files a $20 million lawsuit over the drunk driving accident. he's suing a nightclub.

he says red bull hosted a party that served excessive alcohol. she crashed on the parkway killing ashley, he says prevented him from playing in the world cup. los angeles judge's harsh words, the troubled actress is back in handcuffs. here are reports from wjz. why lohan was fired from her community service. >> reporter: she walked out of a los angeles courtroom in handcuffs after judge revoked her probation. at a hearing the judge said it appeared the troubled actress violated her probation by failing to perform her service at women's shelter. >> probation is a gift. it's something looking a gift in the mouth. >> reporter: prosecutors want her back in jail. >> this is a time where there's a penalty imposed before her

completely disregarding the court's order. >> reporter: back in april the judge ordered the mean girl to serve 500 hours. the bulk of that service was supposed to take place at the downtown women's center, the judge said the shelter assignment would do the actress some good. but the shelter fired lohan for missing 9 scheduled appointments. lohan's lawyers said she has done other parts of her sentence and there's still time to do her community service. >> she's got 6 months to complete her sentence at the downtown women's center. >> reporter: the judge was also upset that lohan hadn't started the toughest part of her sentence, community service at the county morgue. she told the actress she must work there 16 hours a week until her next court appointment in november. lohan posted bail, which the judge set at $100,000. her lawyers say she missed the appointments because she's trying to revive her acting
