. looking to get snow, power was knocked out to homes, but skiers are excited to hit the slopes this weekend. they don't need to wait another month. how long will we wait? who knows. more from the weather center. >> marty and i was just talking and you might not need to wait that long, all you need is moisture and cold air and the moisture is moving over the area and the front will bring in the rain over the next 12 hours or so and then it will clear out and behind that front, the colder temperatures and we will see the clearing, but how will that play out over the next few days.

the temperatures -- . >> we will have some nice warm air, on the warm side of the front now. the temperatures will go up and we will be in the 60s today. 61 now, that is 50 in oak land and 69 down down on the shore. that is nice, the average high is 63 for this day. put that in perspective, we are on target from where we expect to be for this date in august, the wind will shift, the front will move through on the back enand we will see the cooler air, the north west flow that p tap into the cold air that has brought denver from 80 to the 20s. we have this line moving on through. what we will watch, the temperatures that changed. we have a 61 here and 40s in detroit and about a 40-degree change from where it was to where it has been. that will move our way and that front will move through.
