>> and i am don scott. >> here is what people are talking about today, breaking news in baltimore, where a hazmat scare has forced a school to evacuate. chopper 13 is live over the baltimore freedom academy, captain mike has the latest good afternoon, mike. >> reporter: good afternoon. it occurred around 11:00 this morning. several children found a court sized bottle in a closet and dropped it and they then evacuated the school. we do know two children suffered minor irritation and

burns to their eyes. they have remained on scene. they are cleaning up that material. which is believed to be formaldehyde. tolls are going up. we are live at the ft. mchenry toll plaza with more. good afternoon. >> reporter: good afternoon. it is one of two hikes we will see over the next few years. in the first phase of hikes starting today the tolls go up to 3 dollars. the commuter easy pass discount increases to 75 cents. the cost to cross the bay bridge jumps to 4 dollars cash. the easy pass rate stays the same until july of 2013. on i-95, kennedy highway and the bridge the toll goes up to 6 dollars and easy pass rates up to 1.50. special exemptions are made for

hall when another car hit his suv. both drivers were taken to the hospital but had non-life- threatening injuries. the mayor was not involved. one man is behind bars in connection with the rape of a 14-year-old. they tracked down 22-year-old lucky crosbie because of his court ordered gps monitor bracelet. the girl was sexually assaulted while walking on leslie street. 4 other men are being south. >> he has been convicted, now a man is waiting to see if he will pay the ultimate price. we have this report. >> reporter: a jury continues to deliberate whether he should face the death penalty. last week he was found guilty in a murder-for-hire plot. in a bid to keep him off death row defense attorneys called a prison expert to testify about the effects of life in prison without parole. >> life without parole and the

halloween ended on a deadly note in new orleans, last night. police say two men opened fire on the burbon street and the french quarter, killing one and wounds seven others and at this point they are not sure who was an intended target and who wasn't. an entire block was shut down for several hours but no arrests have been made. in new york city two 12 years are charged with nearly killing a woman. the pushed a cart off and it hit the woman on the head. police say it is unclear if she was a target. they are charging them with felony assaults. >> amtrak will soon offer more free wi-fi to a dozen east coast routes including trains from boston to virginia beach. officials say ne,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

we will go up a couple of more degrees this afternoon. before we cool down again tonight. the 30s. tomorrow, though those temperatures start to creep up more. so that is the trend over the next few days as marty was talking about at the beginning of the show, so high pressure today and tomorrow but by thursday it leaves us, additional clouds on thursday as that front approaches. you can see there is not a whole lot to this front. so that will come through. then this one down here is going to come our way friday into saturday morning. chance for a couple of showers with it but it looks like it gets out of here in time for the weekend so that is something we will watch and keep you updated. forecast goes like this though for today, just a few more degrees out there, partly to mostly sunny skies. tonight we cool it down once again to the mid-30s. tomorrow we try to get closer to 60 degrees but still below average. a lot of sunshine. we will try to creep up those temperatures. most of this forecast is below average. although not all that extreme. we will have that 5 day in just
