playoffs. >> what's the behind the principal's stunning reversal. here is what people are talking about tonight, victory dance almost ends perry hall's state championship run before it begins. in the 1 # 1st hour a dramatic decision to let them play. wjz is live from fans who fought to see perry hall stay in the tournament. >> reporter: that school's principal suspended the school's soccer team after a victory dance landed them in hot water, now he's changed his mind. this almost ended the soccer season. parents complained the dance was lewd. >> the dance was for fun. they've done it before and there was no big deal about it. >> reporter: the principal lifted the suspension against the team friday. >> they will play. >> reporter: the dance decision big topic at perry hall's friday night's football game. >> what they did was wrong. they definitely shouldn't have

we're following breaking news. a fire leaves almost a dozen people homeless. the 3 alarm fire broke out at the townhomes. no one was hurt but some families tell us they lost everything in the fire. investigators are looking to find out what caused it. a dramatic end to a school field trip when several people were rescued. the student from the cambridge school were canoes. a strong gust of wind flipped one of the canoes. several students and adults fell into the 50-degree water. rescuers say it looks like the victims suffer from hypo they were ya. baltimore grand prix is a win for the city but a lost for some local businesses. tonight even more fall out, part warren reports their debts appear to be mounting. >> reporter: labor day starts the engine on what city officials and racing fans celebrate as the grand prix grand success. >> the speed, comradery. >> it was araise mag. >> it's just unbelievable.

for a weekend. a street -- lost control again smashing into cars. one unit has tire tracks on its hoods. police say the driver and passenger ran away. the passenger was caught but police still trying to find that body. are the full body scanners increasing your risk for cancer. the tsa launched in its own study. cancer risk -- also claims tsa officials downplayed the concern regarding a possible cancer link. tsa administrator says the scanners have been through independent testing and approved by the fda. passengers can opt out of the scans in favor of a metal detector test and pat down. passengers flying out of dwi

undiagnosed strep infection spread through his body causing septic shock. they are suing the hospital claiming a test and antibiotic were all eric needed. >> they discharged eric with erroneous and really a garbage diagnosis. >> released this statement we first want to extend our heart felt sympathy to eric and his family. we applaud them for trying to educate other parents of the potential complication of advance strep infection through media attention. eric symptoms were not consistent with or indicative of this very aggressive form of infection. their son was a star soccer player but is still very active. >> he doesn't have for -- ask for help. >> the lawsuit is seeking damages in excess of $30,000. they cap pay offs 655,000. wjz eyewitness news. >> the family says it will likely cost up to $15 million to pay for a lifetime.
