. murder off campus, police make a quick arrest. a tragic story this weekend. thank you for being with us this weekend. at the state university student and baltimore native was stabbed to death at a party, we have more on what led up to the violence and the suspect that is charged tonight .... the victim graduated from here in baltimore and was murdered after a fight at a late had been night -- late-night party. >> the disbelieve, heartbreak, they were there to attend a village al to mourn the murder of the 19-year-old baltimore student. >> violence, you don't expect it that close to you. especially when you know the person, it is scary. >> she was found bleeding, lying on the ground across from the campus and the investigators said she was inside the house with others

and an argument broke out. a 23-year-old pulled out a knife and stabbed her. now that 23-year-old is under arrest and the school said that this was off the school property -- it was not a random act and we consider it a safe community. >> mccoy worked to help freshman adjust to life on campus, a physician physician sick's yore and in two sicking -- singing groups. a football player died and then two december students that died in a fire and the murder of a basketball player that was shot to death at an off campus house. >> it is disturbing.

i feel like when someone passes away, it is getting closer. >> that suspect is held without bond and is facing first and second-degree murder charges. thank you, derrick. the suspect was a business administration major, she was also from maryland. the baltimore police are looking into a shooting, three men with gunshot wounds on north avenue, all three taken to the hospital, all three had non-life threatening injuries. if you have information, call the police immediately. a former penn state football coach is said to have sexually assaulted several young boys and now two university officials are facing charges of trying to cover that up. here is more from pennsylvania. >> the former penn state coordinator is out on bail. saturday the police arrested

the 67-year-old for the sexual assault of eight underage boys over a 15-year pearled. >> it is very upsetting for him and distraught over the allegations. >> he retired in 1999 after coaching at penn state for several decades. he was said to have a assaultd victims on campus and one was said to be ten. the grand jury said that the coach had access to vulnerable children with his charity for at-risk kids. >> this is a case of a sexual predator that used his position in the community to prey on young boys. the lawyers are looking into a possible cover up by the high- level university officials. a grad student said he saw him

molesting a boy and that was passed onto higher up and he does not face charges, but the prosecution said that the athletic director and the vice- president for finance and business did not alert the police and the university president is standing by the two and said that he was sure that the charges would be groundless and that they conducted themselves professionally and appropriately. the penn state athletic director and the vice-president for finance is expected to turn themselves in on monday. the maryland governor hit the sunday talk show circuit to defend the president's job program. >> we are taking one step forward and three back. we are eliminating one job in the public sector for every two

. intense flooding hit italy, a third of the annual rain in six hours and tiff people, including two young girls were killed. they took shelter in a lobly that flooded. many people are flooding fingers, the schools and roads were shut down ahead of the storm. there was another clash with new york police department. many marched to protest what they called the president's close relationship with the wall street bankers and the scuffel that broke out with the

. welcome back. the average is down to 60. starting the day at a chilly 30. the sun is down, we are starting to drop and it is 50 outside, 40s out there and the dew points up from yesterday at this point. that mean that is the temperatures will not drop as much as last night. the other thing, too, the winds out there, just from the south, fog forming overnight and we

in that crack, the firefighters climbed up to the 12-inch dirt crawl space and took the pup and brought him to safety and he was taken back and his mother and three siblings. that puppy was given the name of lucky. and new addition toss the may e's -- may see's thanksgiving day parade. they are going to be able to make sure that it goes smoothly. it is the 85th year that they will host that thanksgiving tradition. >> speaking of the store, i was there and they are playing christmas music and the trees are up in the hall. >> the holidays are here and people are starting to shop. have you started that yet?
