federal raids gone wrong. a car full of suspects goes out of control and an atf agent is rushed to the hospital.

>> eyewitness accounts you will hear only on wjz. hello everybody i'm denise koch. >> and i'm vic carter. here is what people are talking about tonight. >> wjz is live on the scene, kai jackson has exclusive video of the moment of impact. >> reporter: that's right the video we're about to show you is absolutely unbelievable. it shows an out of control suv. and an army of federal agent pursuing it. watch the right side of your screen scarefully, surveillance video from the blue crab express shows this white suv apparently fleeing federal agents it barreling into the restaurant's parking lot on patasco avenue. >> it was coming really fast, we just jumped up and everybody ran. >> reporter: it started with gunshots moments earlier. agents confirmed that some 40 agents and baltimore city police took part in an ongoing

enforcement action but they decline to give details. >> that guy trying to escape through my parking lot and knocked the big pole down. >> reporter: surveillance video picks up another angle. it barrels into a chevy blazer. >> i was scared, i was trying to figure out which way to run and which way not to run. >> reporter: it ended up just down the road on patasco avenue crashing into that surveillance pole. a third angle is captured, nearly missing two vehicles then crashing into that utility pole. this is what eyewitness news has learned one atf agent was apparently injured in the pursuit of that vehicle. sources with the atf tell us seven suspects are now in the

hospital. four of those suspects were hurt. their injuries also nonlife threatening. this is an ongoing investigation and because of that they are readisent to give us any details. we heard about shots being fired but the fbi would not confirm that they fired shots or the suspects fired shots. again a lot of details to be sorted out but this investigation is ongoing. back to you. >> we will continue to bring you the latest on this story. >> reporter: breaking his silence, former penn state coach sandusky insists he's not a pedophile. sandusky insists he showered with boys. it's the first time he talked about abusing the boys. sandusky explained to bob costas what happened with the boys. >> i have horsed around with kids. i have showered after work

two people to death outside of a dave and busters restaurant. >> i do live in the community and it was very disturbing. >> i definitely have concerns about security. i probably wouldn't go thereafter dark for a while any way. >> reporter: police tracked coleman to a house at prince george's county where he came out with an ak47 and shot an officer in the face. that officer is expected to make a full recovery. >> he's just letting off round after round with the ak. >> reporter: investigators say the shooting was not random. the violence comes just before the start of the holiday shopping season and as concerns are building over security, with the new casino set to open in a few moments. it's expected to draw thousands of customers to the area. police tell wjz tips from witnesses led them to coleman. the victims were 25 and 30 years old both were from prince georges county. at arundel mill, mike hellgren,

wjz news. prince george's county police have identified the six officers involved in the shooting, one of them corporal phillip foster was injured in that gunfire. caught in the act, just released wiretaps reveal former councilwoman johnson and county executive jack johnson as they frankicly decide to hide $80,000 cash. >> what do you want me to do with this money? what do you want me to do. >> put it in your panties and walk out of the house. >> reporter: that conversation took place at fbi agents raided the johnson's house. prosecutors say it proves the johnsons conspired to hide funds. the first of two trials begin in the robo call case that tarnished the 2011 election.

year-old to have been trapped in a car for two days. ramos was snatched outside his family home and held in a mountain hide out. commandos rescued the nationals rookie. police have arrested eight suspects and have connected two more people to the kidnapping. a child is shot and killed outside his home. someone knows who killed sean johnson but they are afraid to talk. we talk to sean's mother about the conspiracy of silence that allows his killers to walk free tonight. >> reporter: 12-year-old sean

johnson should not be dead. the fifth grade a student who loved baseball should not be dead. while watching a play off game, he stepped outside, shots ring out and hit several children. police now tell us that a gang targeting someone else just two streets away shot sean and his friends instead. >> they said they were looking for other people, that were in the neighborhood. and they thought that there were guns and they just started firing. >> they got the wrong people? >> yeah. >> reporter: six months after his death sean's mother is finally able to talk about that night. >> now i wouldn't want anybody to feel the pain that i feel right now. >> reporter: pain worsened because sean's killer is still out here. there are no real leads in the case and nobody is coming

forward. >> open your mouth, i'm not afraid why should you be. >> reporter: but people are afraid, john werth's grandson was shot that night. he says intimidation and the stop snitching culture stops people from coming forward. >> someone out there knows who killed sean johnson and who shot your grandson. >> and the other two. >> and the other two boys and no one is talking. >> somebody knows who it is right now. suppose it was their brother or their sister or even their mother or a little baby. how would they feel? what would they want. >> it's frustrating. >> reporter: police commissioner fred beal and i walked the neighborhood where sean was shot. he says people know who pulled the trigger but will not talk. what is it going to take? >> someone right now, someone that's going to hear this story knows exactly where the guns are. it was two guns used in the case. people know exactly who pulled the trigger. >> reporter: for sean's mother every day that passes without a

suspect in her son's murder is a day that a killer walks among them. >> to be gunned down in the street and you haven't done nothing to no one. but just trying to live your life as best as you can. just stop the violence, that's all i ask please, should no parent feel the pain i'm feeling right now. >> reporter: mary bubala, wjz eyewitness news. >> now if you know anything about sean's murder please call police. you can remain anonymous. an elderly woman in illinois turns the table on two robbery suspects. police say the teenagers tried to steal a purse from the 83- year-old woman as she walked across the bridge. they say she knocked them down and then signaled to a near by officer that made the arrest. the grandmother says she was not scared but she was rather angry when they tried to robber her. a hidden coffee thief gets starbucks in hot water with the state of massachusetts.

the coffee giant was fined for charging customers an additional $1.50. state agency says the extra charge was never listed in the store. starbucks has now dropped the fee and say, the store will offer smaller packages. nature is putting on quite a show in the congo. take a look at what is believed to be the nation's largest volcano eruption in years. the government says there's no immediate danger and they are encouraging tourists to see it for themselves. i didn't know there was a volcano in the congo. beautiful if you're far away. >> very hot there in haiti you know. south of congo. all right, yes pretty warm stuff there. that means down below the earth there is that molten core. that's really how the earth was

formed. and here are conditions around the region. look how warm it is. 68degrees at 11:00 at night. 53 dewpoint, southwest winds 13. the barometer just beginning to fall a little bit, 29.79. it's probably not going to drop more than four or five more degrees tonight. maybe some areas will get back into the 50s. right now any where from 63 to 70 degrees. this time of night is just remarkably warm. it got up to 74 today. the record is 77 just three degrees shy. the average high is 57, the low has been 56 and the average low is 37. the record low 18 degrees back in 1986. right now southwest winds continue. that will allow clouds and

cooler temperatures to move in. already shower activity to our north across pennsylvania and ohio. portions of the midwest that front is slowly headed in our direction . a lot of shower activity, but we'll see clouds and rain moving in tomorrow afternoon probably. by tomorrow night solid rain into wednesday. could pick up an inch or more. stays mile and then there comes the cooler air. much cooler by thursday into friday. but the sun will be coming back out. so we'll dry up. winds tomorrow will be shifting back to the northwest. gusting up to 20 knots. the bay temp around 55-degree. so tonight cloudy skies, maybe some showers knot showers -- north and west of us. 68 again tomorrow with showers. probably steady rain coming in late in the day or tomorrow night. a good chance of rain continuing into wednesday before it clears out. 63-41. 50 on friday, a lot cooler that's actually below average.
