being sick and tired. >> reporter: they're calling for building schools and bridges. >> we need infrastructure, we want business to get better. >> reporter: tonight's march across the bridge, part of a national day of action going on in 30 cities across the country. for many the message is personal. >> i'm worried about what the future holds for my own two daughters. >> reporter: it isn't just adults concerned about that future. >> why are you out here today? >> i feel like there's hope when i get older, that's when we're going to have to deal with this. >> reporter: hope for a better future, the reason so many came out. tonight's protest was peaceful. police did not make any arrest. live at colony square. >> thank you. minutes ago another group marching from new york to washington, d.c. cross over into maryland over the bridge and into -- they will stop in baltimore on saturday night. in new york occupy protesters take over subways,

bridges and clog city streets. as tonight wears on, they're only growing in numbers. >> reporter: occupy wall street stay of action took protesters down new york city streets, under ground and across the bridge. movement against economic inequality marked its two month anniversary with protests all over the city. things got bloody more than 175 people were arrested during clashes with police. several officers were injured. michael bloomberg downplayed today's activity. >> the real story also for tomorrow morning's paper is that we there were not many people out here. most people expressed themselves and went back about their business. >> that all changed once the workday let out. labor unions and doctors joined them and over flow crowds of thousands. >> they think that we're puppets. you know what, our strings are not attached any more. >> nearby powerful light

to serious charges. bitter break up is being blamed. former steven university lacross player christopher scott faces charges in connection with a sex video he made with his former girlfriend and posted online as revenge when he broke up. police say he made that video on campus and it has students here buzzing. >> if i was in his shoes, i wouldn't -- >> according to the criminal complaint, wjz obtained scott told police he was depressed over his break up and was trying to be hateful and admitted he was sorry. the university would not comment on the case but pointed out scott has not been a student here for more than a year. he confronted him about the video after getting harassed she said losing her job over it. he manipulated her into making

it and continually tried do things sexual whatly with some of his friends. >> it's shocking. i think he's probably upset. >> reporter: it stretched from stevenson to new town square where they confiscated scott's computer. they found marijuana and child porn and drew strong reaction from neighbors there. >> it's awful. i feel so sorry for that girl. >> you don't do that to somebody else. >> reporter: the sex video has spread to dozens of web sites and tens of thousands of people have watched it. when police went to his home his mom answered the door and said he was out with his new girlfriend and her family. when he got back from that they questioned him. stevenson university wjz eyewitness news. >> scott is free on bail facing misdemeanor charges. assassination attempt police say he was shooting to kill. he's accused of firing two shots at the white house last week with a semi automatic rifle.
