mars. tomorrow the rover curiosity will blast into space. here is more on its link to maryland. >> reporter: it's the biggest and most advanced rover to walk the red planet. tomorrow this machine curiosity will launch to mars taking with it a key component built right here at the space center in maryland. >> this is the most complex instrument that has flown to another planet. >> melissa trainer is talking about the sample analysis at mars instrument. it's a set of tools that will collect samples to the atmosphere and surface and send that data back to scientists. >> that's going to be huge step in our understanding into whether or not it could have supported life. >> it will take 7 minutes for it to land. that landing itself will have scientists on pins and needles because it's the first of its kind for nasa. >> of course it's most 107 min -- tense 7 minutes that i will

in around high pressure that was sitting just down around south carolina and moving off to the east and northeast and around that clockwise flow was starting to get most of this warm air coming in from the south, temperatures have been about 10 degrees warmer in the south and over towards memphis, down towards texas then we have been here. but we're watching now is system developing all starting to move over the mountains in the west. it's starting to really form and project from the great lakes back towards texas. it's going to start project the clouds into our region by sunday night. sundown on sunday all bets are off. start to see sprinkles across the area primarily moving in from the west to the east. after the system move ins, it slows down, the rain is going to be with us again another day that could be a wash out. that's monday. the temperature wills take a bit of a hit heading through the middle of the week and the rain lingers until about wednesday before we start to see improvement. sun rise tomorrow at 7:02. high tide is at 6:32.
