going? >> the older sister is here at john hopkins and is stable tonight and the former governor reached out for a comment, he declined as the family is in mourning. from sky eye chopper 13, a state police crash team on thursday afternoon piecing together a deadly crash that claimed the life of a $5 year old baltimore boy the day before. i 83 was shut down to reconstruct the scene. the traffic was stopped well into rush hour after the crash at 3:00 p.m. >> it was a four-vehicle pile up. the first vehicle had the most injuries. >> that call was this see dan and inside, the family from south baltimore and the two

other siblings were taken too the -- to the hospital. the boy died and the parents were taken to the hospital. the police said that the driver of the s.u.v. that hit them as a 32 23á year old male that they said was speeding at the time. both of the children go to this school, jake was in kindergarten. the principal talked about it on the school web page and said his spirit will be missed. another driver said that the impact was hard for him. they said it happen in seconds, the traffic slowed, it was the most horrific thing i have ever been involved in. no charges filed in this case, the police don't think alcohol or drugs were involved, but

they are looking at the cell phone records to see if he was texting or talking on the phone when he crashed. back to you. after the investigation is finished, the police will talk to the state's attorney office to see if the driver will face charges. another deadly accident is being investigated in silver springs. two teens died this morning had their car went airborne on university boulevard. the vehicle landed on a brick wall. both women are from heightsville and a third teen was seriously hurt. a woman drowned at the same beach where robin gardener disappeared. we have more from the newsroom. >> the investigators identified the victim as an american, but it is not clear where she is from. she drowned as she and a tour group was snorkeling at baby beach. it is the same area where robin

gardener went missing. she penitentiarytroke -- her traveling companion spent days in jail. >> this drowning is being investigated. in baltimore, firefighters said a gas main was struck on north charles street and traffic was interrupted. no injuries reported. a small camp fire ended with an explosion in baltimore county and three teens went to the hospital with serious burns. we are live in rose dale and what caused the accident. >> those three teens were engulfed in a fire ball and one put gasoline on the backyard fire. the fire officials said that the teens were in the backyard

of a home on shady spring avenue. >> they sat around talking and just having a nice night. >> the teen's used twigs and branches to try to start a bonfire in a fire pit and had it did not last, one took five gallons of gasoline in a can and it exploded. >> a father of a teen ran into the yard to help and the three teens were taken to john hopkins. one 17 year old girl was burned over half her body. the neighbors here are shocked, saddened over this tragic accident. >> the person that got hurt, it is hard to see anybody get hurt, let alone a teen. >> my grandson knows the little girl. it is really, really sad --

we have a few of these over the area. much of the activity is dissipating before it hits the ground. it is over the top tier of the state and you have to be in the right combination of location and temperatures to see that some of the areas are still and showers are coming down in the form of rain, the temperatures are about 40 around the time that it came down. the day high of 41, officially at dwi marshall. the temperatures on par with the average of this time of year. the overnight low is on target, that is the average for this time of the year, no where near that 77 and we have that 37, 66% humidity, the dew point was low all day. this is the high, relative humidity today and that dryness ate up if showers and this is

until june and went to winter street elementary school. >> counseling is there for people that knew her. she was beat to death and dismembered by a neighbor that confess to do the crime. a maryland man is indicted for two brutal murders, occur at this time lopez was accused of shooting his estranged wife. he beat her to death in her apartment. her son's part was found in the woods. he will face life in prison if convicted. >> bp could face the first criminal charges debtd to the oil spill in the gulf. they are considering charges against several bp engineers, did they provide false information to regulators about the risk of drilling. this is considered the worst in united states history and the charges will carry penalties of a fine and up to five years in prison.
