wednesday. it halted traffic well into rush hour. >> the driver of the jeep slammed into what was stopped traffic. it was a four-vehicle pile up. the first vehicle that was rear ended had the motion injuries -- that was inside with the own's family. there was the center and the group taken to john hopkins, an hour later, their parents and their family taken to the hospital. the police said that the driver of the s.u.v. that hit them was that of a 23- year-old that they said was speeding at the time. both children are here, at this school with the school web site announcing by the principal that said that the boy's calm spirit and charming smile will be missed. we spoke with the driver of the

car and said that the main reaction, the impact for him was harsh. the 39-year-old said that it was just as he came to a stop. traffic was slow and it was the most horrific thing ever. so far, no charges filed in this case. they don't think that alcohol or drugs were involved, but they are looking at the cell phone records to see if they were texting or talking on the phone when they crashed. >> reporting live, eyewitness news. thank you. after that investigation is finished, the police will you can cult with the state's attorney to see if they will face charges. the new information on another deadly accident involving a metro bus. it happen when a bus and truck collided. the driver died and eight other people were taken to the hospital, the cause of the crash is being investigated tonight. >> maryland lawmakers are getting ready for another

. a look outside, st city lights, a few lights out there as far as the lights are concerned. these conditions are because of a fast-moving system over the country. we are on the lower end of this, we are not done with these, don't be surprised to see another one of these on saturday. we are watching here, the effects of the system, this is one that is moving through, the light snow showers. this is over the top portion of the state and the the next will move by and they hope it will project clouds this way by tomorrow afternoon and come through overnight and could bring in some light showers on saturday morning. for the most part, they will move out quickly with no real effects, nothing accumulating. this is the day time high, 32 is the average and 25 is the overnight low and that is right on target with the average for this time of the year. no where near the record. there is the high and low for

this date, but we are close to what is considered normal for this time of year heading into the thras few days of december. 36 now, the temperatures -- . this is up a bit, from the low that is moving out, this high pressure is starting to hold onto the temperature one more time. down to southern maryland and we have 40 down in ocean city and 43 at the hudson river and near kent island and we are in the mid 30s over most of the state from columbia to rock hall and adding in bellaire. the winds are calm around central maryland and then the southeast side, contributing to the cloud cover, bringing in the moisture, that is bringing in the warmer air because the temperatures are stuck in the
