vehicle they believe he was driving. when i found at the signing, heat took off and led them on a chase. he admitted to killing his father and dumping the buyer -- dumping the body. also, baltimore attorney investigating the fire that took lives overnight. live in the newsroom with more on what happened. >> firefighters tried to save two women inside the home but it was too late. the fire broke out around 7:30 last night. crews say when they arrived at the scene they found two women trapped inside. those women were taken to the hospital. they later died from their injuries. no word on the cause of that fire. back to you. >> the two dead have been identified as mother and daughter. >> reward being offered in the murdered overtired city school principal. mary hines was found stabbed to

death following a fire thursday. metro crimestoppers is offering up to $2000 for any information leading to an arrest. an investigation underway at morgan state university after witnesses claim the school's basketball coach punched a player interface during the game. live with the very latest. good afternoon, monique. >> that coach has been suspended indefinitely despite the fact that both he and the players say that punch never happened. >> reporter: in a heated one moment, witnesses say they saw the coach to strike a player. >> we think it's important to gather the facts surrounding this incident. >> one witness told our media partner he saw him punch him in the face saying it was pretty dramatic. there were a lot of people there who thought the coach was out

of line. the sportswriter told wjz what he saw. >> it appeared as though he gave some type of push back. >> that was enough for south carolina state president to contact officials. >> some say that he actually struck the student, others to say it wasn't that bad. >> coach bozeman released a statement saying, it's definitely overblown, i didn't hit them are either should've been an investigation already. wjz has learned there is video of the incident, but officials doesn't say it doesn't -- officials say it doesn't clearly show what happened. >> if it was hit, it wasn't violent. with the student says is that it was an accidental contact. >> that player says it was just a bump. others who know the coach said this would be out of character. >> he's a very good coach.

>> one of the deadliest air show accidents in u.s. history in washington today. history in the national transportation safety board is holding a hearing on performance airplane safety. the hearing comes after the september 16th crash at the reno, nevada air show national championship races. a pilot and 10 spectators died and about 70 others were hurt when a plane crashed right into the

stands. there were eight a or race and air show accidents last year. shakeup at the white house. president barack obama's chief of staff is moving on after a year on the job. william daley is stepping down and returning to his native chicago. he's being replaced by budget director jacob lew. the change will be affected by the end of this month. >> if you were hiding money from local sam, now the time to come clean about it. the irs has an voluntary disclosure program for 2012 designed for those not claiming money cap and offshore bank accounts. under the program, though setting up would have to pay a 27.5% penalty on the balances, the back taxes on their money, and late charges but would avoid jail. if you are thinking about grabbing coffee at starbucks, a new option. the coffee company officially launching its blonde roast today. it's the first lighter taste from starbucks know for its signature dark coffee. starbucks says they released a

brought us up to 50 degrees already here. take a look around the entire state. all of us at least in the 40s except for oakland. in the immediate metro area, 50 in annapolis. here is a front that left us. see that over texas? that puts across the south and turns up. the clouds get here during the day tomorrow and then the rain arrives area for us this is mainly in the form of brain because the cold air is locked up way to the north. then when the storm leaves us, it's going to change our weather pattern heading into the weekend. here's a storm that comes up from the south. the rain continues until thursday before this gets out of here. we see some clearing that the clouds come back in thursday night and friday with his front right in here and behind this one is where the cold air is. so are nice and mild start to the year is going to take a turn as we head toward the weekend. the forecast for today looks like this. 54 degrees for the high. tonight we are going down under

>> welcome back. it's going to happen. where all of the action is going to be. before we get to that, a few days weatherwise to talk about. today is gorgeous. we are in the 50s. tomorrow the clouds come and followed by rain. that will continue into thursday when we spike at 51. the rain gets out of here thursday, and here comes the cold air as we had for the weekend. can you hide close to 40 degrees or in the upper 30s. so for sunday at this point it looks like the next front will stay north of us but we will continue to track that and give you updates. it is going to turn colder so we were talking about this during the morning show, get the cold weather gear out. a lot of people don't mind wearing some of it. >> will try to hang on. longsleeved shirts on sunday for sure. >> don't wear sleeveless.
