now first link weather, complete forecast and the first warning of severe weather. >> all right. this i can tolerate burns. >> you like this? >> this weekend we had brutally cold weather and it is february as you mentioned. >> over the weekend we were saying hello winter. >> yeah. >> it has not been around much this season but made an appearance over the weekend. today it is already gone. this is where we have topped out, 47 degrees back above average of 44, yesterday we were way below average and that gusty northwest wind did not help things at all. 47 degrees is the current temperature in baltimore, 49 in dc. so close to 50 degrees. it is still 32 in oakland. compared to yesterday at this time we are 10 to 15 degrees warmer in most cases. and also like we said we have lost that intense wind that we
4:21 pm
had making the wind chills feel like they were in the teens yesterday afternoon. this is just a little bit of a breeze out of the west. it is going to bring in milder air because when we open it up something we showed you a lot this season there is just not a whole lot of arctic air behind what we just went through, so those dark colors have made their way out of here. behind it it is much milder and that is what is moving in our direction. so here is the next storm coming our way that is going to bring that milder air. originally in the form of snow for a lot of people but this storm is going to weaken significantly as it moves into the dry air on top of us. we see the clouds tomorrow then snow mixed with rain to start out the day and rain showers throughout the afternoon but this is not a very big storm for us because the storm is weakening as it even moves into that drier air which is going to eat up a lot of what you see already. we have this graphic. notice how the green indicating the moisture really starts to disappear as it moves towards maryland.
4:22 pm
so we get the clouds, maybe a couple of rain or snow showers, then this gets out of here no wednesday as another storm moves our way on thursday and behind that another round of mild air. so the forecast comes together like this:on the waters losing those advisories. we had gale warnings over the weekend, winds 5 to 10 knots bay temperature is 40 degrees. tomorrow below freezing, the clouds, tomorrow mixed rain and snow showers early in the day and rain showers possible in the afternoon, we are going up to 49 degrees, so temperature's wise that is very marginal anyway. >> 49. >> yeah. >> for february. >> yeah. >> i will take that. >> and that gets out of here and we are talking 50s for the middle of the week. >> horrible. don't miss the primetime line up. near heart stopping episode of hawaii 5-0, followed by eyewitness news at 11:00. it can take a long time to heal from a broken heart. but heart experts warn for some
