council meeting specifically allegations leopold had police drive him to sexual liaisons. >> a person of his age having sex in the park, he's too old for that. come on. >> we've been changing mr. leopold's pee bag for years. information was put through the chain of command and nobody did anything. >> i will be asking a lot of detailed questions from people who may have been involved through this process. >> as far as the no vote of confidence shame on the police department. i think the county checktive and sheriff have done a good job. >> the allegations, it's a huge distraction and i'm sure people

already concerned about leadership and decision making. >> reporter: leopold kept to his schedule and told wyz -- wjz the indictment is no deinstruction. despite all the calls for him to step down he says he will not do so. mike hellgren, wjz news. >> the fraternal order of police want to take away some power and approve the hiring and firing of the police chief this has one man was killed and another critically injured in an aggravated assault. the men were beaten and it happened outside an elementary school around 10:00 tonight. the man who survived is in critical condition. we have a crew on the scene gathering more information. we'll bring it to you as soon as we get it. take a look at the

wreckage, firefighters say a car and an sufficient crashed head on causing the car to roll over several times. a third car got tangled up in the mess. three other people were taken to the hospital. several people were rushed to the hospital after their bus burst into flames. the fire started when a student turned on a flair in the bus. police have the student who lit the flair in custody. they dent know if he set it off intentionally -- they don't know if he set it off intentionally. a 13-year-old girl is found dead hidden under a pile of trash. two of the girl's friends are in police custody. >> reporter: two boys are in custody, but for the family of

the 13-year-old victim, that provides no consolation. detectives say turnage was in a home with friends saturday night. they were playing with a gun when it went off. monet was shot in the face and killed. police say two girls dragged her into the alley and hid her body. devastated family members still searching for answers. >> we all know things happen. dial 911, that is, what else can you do? somebody is hurt. and you witness it. you don't try to cover it up. you try to get them help. >> reporter: they say the story doesn't add up. >> i really don't understand the story. i don't think she was playing with a gun. >> reporter: family members say the teen was terrified of guns and wouldn't be around one. police say turnage was shot with a .22 caliber rifle, now they are trying to figure out

the gun institution. two men claim they were sexually abused by a nba's former clubhouse manager for the boston red sox. >> reporter: two of the accusers were among the first african american bat boys for the orioles. they say fitzpatrick attacked them at memorial stadium until the visiting clubhouse. sheldon says he didn't tell anybody because he was afraid of losing his dream job. >> it was a job of a dream for a young guy. for myself, and i felt like no one would have believed me if i would say something. >> reporter: the other baltimore man who wants to remain anonymous says he was 16 when fitzpatrick sexually

abused him in an equipment room. the statute of limitations for legal action has run out but the two accusers are asking for $9 million settlement from the red sox and orioles. >> i just want to know why did this happen, he violated me. >> reporter: fitzpatrick died in 2005 for serving a sentence of attempting to abuse five other boys during spring training. fitzpatrick says that the sexual harassment still haunts him. >> i feel uncomfortable with my son being around male figures, i go everywhere with him. >> thank you, kai. the red sox issued a statement saying fitzpatrick's actions were horrid and he was forced out as soon as they knew of the abuse. now five states are trying desperately to recover after

it is 33 degrees and breezy in central maryland and breezy. unsuspected motorists sent skidding. no major injuries were reported. a tour bus leaving the

hoover dam catches fire. the passengers got off before it became fully engulfed. firefighters say they had trouble putting out the fire buzz -- because there was no near fire hydrant. the conservative talk show host limbaugh has apologized after calling fluke a prostitute. the georgetown law student says limbaugh's apology changes nothing. aol and tax resolution services joined seven other advertisers in pulling their ads from the show. limbaugh joked today that so many new advertisers are lining up that his phone is constantly business. our aged parents are demanding answers after a new jersey school. four 10-year-old boys told their parents that maintenance

workers tied them up. the workers have been suspended with pay. a washington, d.c. man is accused of escalating an argument into a dog. the 56-year-old has pleaded not guilty to second degree murder but he is being held without bond. we have a sad story for you about a revolutionary procedure to save a maryland man's life. christopher lyle's has passed away after becoming only the second person in the world to have a transplant using his own stem cell. >> reporter: i first met christopher lyles in november of last year. a day before he left for sweden for revolutionary surgery. he became only the second person in the world, the first from the u.s. to have a synthetic trachea or windpipe

trachea using his own stem cells to form or grow his own cells on plastic. he spoke to us as living, breathing proof as new era in regenerative medicine. >> it's amazing to be that pioneer to step out and do this type of surgery. >> reporter: but just over a week ago, christopher was hospitalized. then the heartbreaking news. christopher lyles died this morning. it was on the website help hope live which was raising money to help christopher pay his medical bills. on his facebook page where christopher connected with so many people about his recovery, many are leaving their condolences to his family and his young daughter. christopher lyles was just 30 years old. christopher's family released a statement late today about his death saying they hope his bravery will pave the way for

further research of stem cell surgery. >> today harvard bio science the company that developed the trachea for christopher, said they are sad about the loss. the workers work -- some fans make a b line to spring training games and in arizona so to the bees. they are a little hard to see but the swarm of bees delayed the game between arizona and san francisco. they squattered into the crowd. after a few minutes they were lured away by a mixture of lemonade and cotton candy. they would make anybody leave. >> put a big pot of it out in the parking lot.

>> bernadette is here for bob and she's got another change in the weather. >> we do, and for all of you who like the warm weather it is returning. but we have to deal with this cold night first. we have to show you what's happening this afternoon, we have light snow in southern parts of m. maryland. all of that got out of here. everything is settling down now and the skies are clearing now. take a look at temperatures, 32 right now in baltimore. 30s all the way down to the oceans, it's in the 20s out in the mountains. when you factor in the winds. it feels like 22 in baltimore. teens north and west of the city. now we did manage a high 44 this afternoon. the average was 50. we were below average and that has not happened very much this season. tomorrow still below average but much warmer air is returning and it is sitting out to our southwest. so tonight first up we're going down into the 20s.

any of those snow showers out there are gone, skies are clearing. and tomorrow clear skies continue. just mixing through a couple of clouds. the high will slowly move away drawing up the warmer air behind it and wait till you see the numbers jump in this forecast. out in the water small craft advisories in effect through late tonight. tomorrow winds pick up out of the southwest. forecast goes like this tonight, we're going down to 24 degrees. it is going to be a cold one. then tomorrow, we get up to about 48 for our high. still below average, we felt that chill in the air especially during the morning hours but take a look what happens after that. we haven't had to deal with cold weather for long this season and not again this time. we're back up to 61 degrees on wednesday with sunshine out there. by the time we hit thursday the clouds start to come in but we're up to 67 degrees. then there's the chance for rain, thursday night into friday with another storm. it does knock down our highs as we head into the weekend but we're still talking about 69 on
