officer's car. >> the thought of it is quite frankly disgusting. >> two boys ages 12 and 13 have already been charged as juveniles with involuntary manslaughter after they accidentally shot their friend and then dragged her body into an alley in the neighborhood. sources tell wjz the off-duty police officer was dating a relative of one of the juvenile suspects. >> i can't really comment on the case but it is important for everyone to know that i expect our officers to perform their duties with integrity and code of law at all times. >> the victims family members tell wjz they are outraged but want to know more before commenting. city councilman carl stokes represents the district where it all happened. >> i feel so badly for the family, and now to have this on top of that, i don't even know what to say. it is too stunning to believe.

>> this afternoon at 4:00, friends and perhaps family members of the victim will be attending a vigil in her honor over at the william c march middle school. wjz eyewitness news. >> police say they are working with city states attorney office as their investigation continues. a deadly crash killed three teens and another driver. police say the family of one of those teams is partly to blame. the very latest on this investigation. >> the mother and older brother of one of the teens are now accused of giving them alcohol before they got behind the wheel. investigators say debbie frankel and joshua frankel threw a party and served alcohol to minors including britney walker. police say she was under the influence and driving the wrong way on route 50 when she crashed head on into another car. walker and her two passengers

were killed along with the other driver, 55-year-old terry wayne davis. >> they face a $500 fine. they don't face any jail time because they only received a civil citation. hazmat teams investigate the mysterious death of three family members in calvert county. investigators say a mysterious illness killed ruth blake last week. her three adult children came down with a similar illness this week. to have died. a third daughter is now recovering. autopsies are being performed to try to identify the source of their illness. well, the hits keep on coming for john leopold. late last night the paternal order of police past and confidence vote for misusing power of office. investigators say he used his police security detail for a campaign and personal task. the sop is calling on leopold

>> prosecutors in norway have charged a gunman who admitted to killing 77 people in a shocking rampage last summer. officials say it's unlikely the extremist will ever go to prison. the very latest for wjz. >> reporter: lawyers visited him in prison to present the client with the indictment. >> they say he remained calm and polite as he heard the charges. the 33-year-old appeared in court last month showing his handcuffs to reporters and the nine criminal guilt for committing the country's worst massacre since world war ii. private disguised himself as a police officer just -- last july to carry out a bombing and shooting spree that killed 77 people. he killed eight people on a government building in onslow, then opened fire at a summer camp. many victims hid behind walls

or played dead as he gunned down 69 people, many of them teenagers. he says his targets were traitors with immigrant friendly attitudes that could lead to a muslim invasion of europe. the charges carry a maximum 21- year sentence. prosecutors say he probably won't go to prison because doctors say he was psychotic at the time of the attacks. a second mental exam is now underway before he goes on trial next month. tina krause, wjz eyewitness news. >> he rejects diagnosis of mental illness. he also says the norwegian legal system has no authority calling it a tool of the left-leaning elite he claims have betrayed his country. president obama fires back at critics questioning his stance on iran. tensions are growing after israel threatened to attack iran to prevent the country to the nuclear weapon.

the president prefers tougher sanctions and diplomatic efforts before considering military action. he also blasted the republican presidential candidates calling them too casual about going to war. several other midwest states deal with tornado damage in people in missouri are battling huge wildfires. nearly a dozen fires are burning in the southern part of the state. firefighters say they are stretched thin trying to keep the fires away from home. but officials say it are working around the clock throwing everything they have at the flames. >> we probably have 50 to 100 folks out there tonight that are still fighting. we use bulldozers, use atvs, fire engines with water capabilities. we are working with everything we've got. >> at least three homes have been destroyed. investigators say they still won't know how those fires started. when the weather gets rough, people are the only ones who had to higher grounds. take a look at this field and ask really. scientists say thousands are working together to escape a

>> complete forecast in the first warning of severe weather. >> welcome back. a gorgeous day outside. make sure you have some time to enjoy it. a major warm-up kicking and today. take a look at some of the numbers. 59 degrees in baltimore. look at the 60s out there. compared to yesterday at this time, 15 to 20 degrees warmer across the board. like i said, we are going up tomorrow. the southwest wind bringing up warmer air. it's 45 in minneapolis, starting to cool down from the upper 60s yesterday. we were in the upper 60s in chicago. at 65 memphis. that air continues to move our way for at least another day or so area that front affects us starting tomorrow night. the clouds come in during the day and then the rain breaks out
