good afternoon i'm don scott. >> i'm jessica kartalija. >> here is what did you what people are talking about. hundreds of young people deciding to meet up downtown, then police making several arrests. mike hellgren is live outside of city police headquarters with new reaction rom the mayor. good afternoon, mike. >> reporter: good afternoon, don, good afternoon everybody, the mayor is disappointed and blames in part the warm weather but says she is committed to keeping downtown safe. during a beautiful weekend at the inner harbor, police had to work to disperse a crowd of hundreds, young people gathering downtown. likely an event organized on social media and runted in ten arrests, mostly for curfew violations. it's not the first time.

gunman opens fire in front of a jewish school in france, killing four people including three children and police say this isn't an isolated incident. manuel gallegus has the latest for wjz. >> reporter: grieving relatives arrived at the school as news spread of the shootingch all the children from this school are like my children, this woman said. police say a gunman on a motor bike opened fire before classes started at the school in the southwest city. rabbi, his sons and another child were killed. the prosecutor says he shot at

everybody who was near him, children and adults. the chirp were chased inside the school. investigators are looking in to weather it's attacked to two others in the same area last week. in those shootings the gunman killed three soldiers before escaping on a scooter. french president sarkozy rushed to the school and promised to find the killer. authorities are trying to determine if this latest shooting is a terrorist attack. so far the motive is unknown. one of israel's top diplomats says it's clear the shooter singled out the jewish community. >> this is something that cannot be understood. how can you aim at children from a close range and kill them? >> reporter: french media reports the soldiers in last week's attack were of --
