passengers. clayton osmond could face 20 years in prison if convicted. he became increasingly incoherent in a flight to las vegas and told his copilot, we need to take a leap of faith and aren't going to vegas. the copilot locked him out. there was a passenger in the front row. >> he started yelling inside the flight deck, throttle idle, bring the plane down, it's here. >> reporter: he had a mental breakdown, ranting up and down the aisle about a bomb. passengers took action, including law enforcement officials who was going to a conference in las vegas. >> i pulled him away from the cockpit door and he started ranting about iraq, iran, they're going to take us down. >> reporter: there was an off- duty pilot to help with an

emergency in texas. >> we're going to have to go into amarillo. >> reporter: osmond was taken off plane by security and still hospitalized. according to faa documents, he passed all tests months ago and no records. bigad sheban. a truck goes into a house sparking the fire. you can see the flames sparking out. for several hours. police said no one was in the truck when it hit the house. also damaged two nearby homes. another scary scene in baltimore county when the car gets pinned under the bus. the car rear ended the bus on boulevard this afternoon. one person went to the hospital to be checked out.

charges dropped, the cases dismissed against five carroll county counselors against a teen in a reform school. meghan mccorkell talks to the victims tonight. meghan? >> reporter: they are heartbroken with the latest developments but will continue to fight for justice with their son. the mother of 17 year old isaiah simmons fears she won't have closure, all charges dropped against the school counselors who allegedly restrained her son face down on the ground for three hours until he suffocated. the five accused of reckless endangerment. >> someone needs to be held accountable. >> reporter: witnesses moved away or charged with felonies and the inability to call the

lead investigator. the investigator, doug, is investigated for perjury in another case. carroll county's state's attorney barnes released this statement offering his condolences to the family. his decision not to proceed with the cases was a tough one. we admitted all credibility of witnesses before making this determination. >> it's not just continuing the case. it's kicking the family when the family's down. >> reporter: all that's left of her son is the 6 year old daughter and the hope that one day she'll find peace. >> today in united states of america, justice is not. >> reporter: it's since reopened as silver oak academy under new management. meghan mccorkell, wjz eyewitness news. thank you, meghan. cooperating with the maryland

baltimore. this woman, 45 year old, kimberly of atlanta, georgia, pleaded guilty to a bizarre and potentially deadly crime. she was charging people up to $1500 to inject silicon in them to improve their appearance. >> reporter: she lied saying it was for medical use, like the kind in breast implants but it was industrial silicone used for things like paint, even auto polish. she pled guilty for using the misbranded and unadulterated drug. >> you can't buy silicone from your local hardware store and inject into someone's body. >> reporter: the silicone got into her lungs and sent her to the hospital. after the dancer left, she said, you almost killed me. prosecutors say she got no

reply. prosecutors say she used super glue to stop the leaking. >> for exotic dancers, apparently, there was an accepted practice. >> reporter: sentencing is scheduled for july 12. back to you. thank you, kai. prosecutors say since 2003, she hadly bought nearly 5000 pounds of industrial silicone which cost more than $20,000. marylanders are evenly split on the issue of same-sex marriage. a new poll shows 43% want to repeal same-sex marriage, compared to 40% who want to uphold the law. opponents are trying to collect signatures to put the issue on the november ballot. it's the kind of number

another system and moisture coming in from the southwest. bring in a period of rain saturday morning, but for tomorrow, most of friday, this front you see south of us right now, dry air moving in. light shower activity continues. southern portions of west virginia. they did get heavy showers there. we actually picked up in the baltimore area anywhere from 300ths after an inch. all out of the south. clear skies coming in tonight with a new air mass moving in to the next day or so. cooler and drier on thursday and friday. this warm front may bring us light rain into saturday morning and then clear out and get warmer again, just in time for the weekend. looks pretty nice. northwest winds on the bay. a small advisory, out there through tomorrow as the front moves through the area. the winds will turn with drier and cooler air. tomorrow, clearing out for the

popular game in america and the nfl is always working on ways to make the game better. the owners approved rule changes. expanding the use of video review by officials, in particular, turnovers. any time there's a fumble or an interception, a replay official upstairs in the booth will automatically review the play to determine if the call was correct. that will eliminate coaches challenging whether or not a turnover was properly ruled like the fumble you just saw in the ravens steelers game that was ruled not a fumble and then changed. no more red flag challenges on turnovers, all of them will be reviewed. college football news, former maryland quarterback danny brian chose a new school. he will transfer to the university of wisconsin. he picked in mississippi. o'brian is eligible to play for wisconsin. also new, turk's starting quarterback. he's leaving maryland.

in baseball news, the orioles announced their new hall of fame quarterback. it will be august and the o's will honor the late walter area coach. the present day o's against the blue jays. eveland fighting for a spot. gave up three runs and four innings. alfredo simon also pitched. opening day just nine days away. college basketball, a new contract for loyola coach jimmy pasco. he earned job security after taking the greyhound to the ncaa tournament. loyola won 24 games t most in school history. passos has been coach. it will be followed up by kansas, ohio state by loyola in
