little boy. >> they were in a holding cell with a 14 and 15-year-old boy. every time he had to urinate they had to turn their heads. >> there was an message on my answering machine, it was the principal of the school. he said, i'm sorry mrs. hammond, a couple of things went on here yesterday. police did not go by regulations. >> reporter: but police defended the policy and said the children were charged in connection with a violent fight outside the school that happened last week where one of the young victims were forced under railroad tracks. >> it's our policy regardless of the age when a suspect is arrested by police they're handcuffed. the reason is not just for the suspects safety but also for officer safety. >> reporter: the aclu says the arrest violates state regulations calling it appalling. >> we're living in a city where we're routinely criminalizing very young people. >> my god they are children. i said were they crying.

happened. >> reporter: in sanford florida, randall pinkston, wjz news. the funeral director who prepared trayvon martin's broadty says he saw no signs of a fight or a struggle, but autopsy results have not been released -- martin's body says he saw no signs. is lashing out at the u.s. government. staff sergeant robert bales is charged with 17 counts of murder. bales says the army is hiding evidence and witnesses from the scene. new development about the abuse of power controversy. after the police chief refused to testify about county executive leopo will, d the deputy police chief agrees to take question from the council instead -- leopold. >> reporter: the council wants to know how leopold allowed his

security detail to be at his beck and call. a so called enemies list compiled by leopold has police chief refuseing to answer county council questions. >> i dope want -- i don't want to break the law. now the deputy chief is stepping forward. leopold is charged with misconduct in office. the council chairman telling wjz now the deputy chief has volunteered to answer questions. >> who's deputy chief will be able to answer basic questions on procedure and process of the police department. especially about the data base that supposedly some of the officers used to do this enemy hit list quote unquote. >> reporter: others are coming in prayer. >> if we can gather and fight the forces of evil and the corruption that exists due to that, that is our strength. >> i see the county in a deep

people across the country checking those mega millions tickets tonight to see if they won big. you're looking at the winning numbers right now. lottery officials say there is a 96% chance that someone won. of course they've been saying that for weeks now. millions of dollars in coins scattered along a canadian highway following an accident. a tractor trailer carrying the

coins was part of the accident. heavy duty magnets had to be brought in to help clean up the coins. investigators are still trying to determine what cause had the accident. two people are feared dead after a large fire rips through a marina in washington state. police believe the couple that lived on a boat that caught fire and sank. the flames spread to at least 10 boats before the roof of the marina collapsed. the blaze was difficult to put out because the police degrees decommissioned their fire boat because of budget cuts. angel perry had 11 children with her when the twister appeared march 2nd. this video shows the danger coming toward them and how calm perry acted. >> everybody stay together,

together, go, go, go. >> and that is what happened to the bus shortly after they all got out. three minutes after. it was lifted in the air, thrown into a diner. because she got them out none of the children were injured. new revelations about the decision to take some remains of the victims from the 9/11 pentagon attack to a virginia landfill. according to just released pentagon documents it was first suggested the unidentifiable fragments be given a burial at sea. that idea was rejected by the mortuary. credit card companies are scrambling to control a major security breach. customers are being told to carefully check their statements for credit card fraud. >> reporter: customers are being warned to watch their statements for fraud.

both mastercard and visa are investigating a breach that may have put credit card accounts at risk. >> maybe if it was just 100 people, i would have blown it off. but now i'm wanting to learn more about it and see if my account might be at risk. >> reporter: the breach was at a company that acts as a middleman merchant. global payments confirmed it spotted unauthorized access into its processing system earlier this month. the company says in a statement it immediately contacted federal law enforcement and that it's continuing its investigation. the first alert about the breach began last week. both mastercard and visa began notifying banks that some of their cards might have been compromised. those notices said the stolen information could be used to make counter fit cards. the blogger who first broke the story said investigators think street gangs in new york city may have something to do with

that breach and that it happened between january 21st and february 25th. both visa and mastercard rushed to reassure customers they won't be held responsible for fraudulent charges. so far visa and mastercard have not estimated how many cards may have been affected. jessica kartalija. in a statement visa says its checking each affected account number and it will offer customers independ fraud monitoring and if necessary a new card. the government's new end graphic anti smoking ads are bringing results. the public service announcement shows how smoking can result in a number of health problems. the $54 million campaign by the centers for disease control and prevention will run for 12 weeks. is it art or is it trash? that debate is going on in

this morning. we had the clouds come in and the showers a little bit earlier. that combined with a wind really knocked down our high temperature. elsewhere the sun came out and temperatured rebounded to the mid-60s. we still have that easterly wind and when you tap into that air that is sitting right over the chilly bay with temperatures in the low 50s, upper 40s and also out in the ocean. you see what it does to some of these areas. it keeps us very cool. now we're 44 degrees in baltimore. but we only managed a high of 69. we were way below that this afternoon. overall there's real fine line where there's some cold air to our north, some really warm air to the north. i believe it was in the 30s just in up state new york. on that distinction line that's where we're going to see the storm tracker, that's why we saw showers coming already and now a line of thunderstorms.

and you see how that front is very strung out. so we're going to take through tonight into the early morning hours before that front clears us. tomorrow afternoon the chance for showers, thunderstorms always tries to push through. while that's happening temperatures are going to be held closer to our average. on sunday there's another one that's going to follow. this would be could bring a couple of showers before that gets out of here. so for the forecast we'll put that together. on the water small craft advisories in effect. tonight a little bit of rain, a few thunderstorms out there. there could be some heavy rain going down to about 40 degrees. tomorrow we're going with a high of 59. now that's for most of us. but if you're just downstream from the band, the western shore there and we get stuck in that easterly wind it might be a little lower than this. that gets out of here by tomorrow evening. on sunday a chance for a couple of shower. by monday and tuesday we're back up in the upper 60s. the orioles are one week
