>> good evening. we're looking at a very brief bit of rain that moved through. it is not the end of this system at all. take a look. we'll show you there was briefly some rain that moved through even with lightning hit with this system moving through the region. we'll give you an idea what is moving through the region. there is a very strong batch of rain that is moving in across the northern portion -- the gulf states and around the northern portion of the gulf states i should say add that low will track past those numbers you see there and come up in entire eastern seaboard. we're seeing an nor'easter before this is said and done. track our way into tomorrow and into tomorrow night very chilly and very wet. >> we are still looking at an average of 12 inches of rain by this time of the year.

community can stand together for justice. >> sanford citizens do not want violence here. >> if there is an outbreak, there won't be here. >> they want the case tried in the courts. >> how many of you agree the judge made the proper decision for bail for zimmerman? not on the streets. zimmerman's attorney says he will be out of jail no later than midweek. a key figure has died. he passed away after suffering a brain hemorrhage. he was one of the 8 convicted of watergate charges. he served seven months in prison. he was 80 years old. a total of six secret service members have left their jobs after being accused of hiring prostitutes while on the job and now, the scandal is

becoming plate sized as it heats up. here is more on what one maryland congressman is saying about this. >> reporter: they are demanding a tour re investigation and some are asking whether that should include a check inside the white house. but one maryland congressman says he is doing enough. >> maryland represent cummings is depending the president involving a dozen secret service agents. >> he got folks out of columbia the moment he found out about this. he stripped them of their security clearance and he suspended them and they have taken action. >> the reenforcement comes after some republicans raised questions about the white house staff. >> it is per pos truss.

>> sarah palin spoke out. he worked security during her 2008 campaign. he put a photo on facebook and said i was really checking her out if you know what i mean. cheney is one of six men who have been forced out, so far in clouding supervisor greg stokes. >> the head of the secret service briefs cummings on the investigation everyday. his committee has turned in ten questions to the agency. >> six other agency employees are still under investigation along with 11 military service members though they have not been charged. as many as 20 colombian women are on the list of prostitutes who partied with them. >> we had a few bad apples but i mean this does not speak for the thousands of secret service men and women who put their lives on the line everyday. cummings expects to get answers on may 1st, that is the

deadline his committee set. >> cummings said after they receive that information, they will determine whether public hearings are necessary. police are still searching a manhattan building in hopes of cracking a 30-year-old cold case. he disappeared in 1979. police reopened the case this week. it is believed he met with a carpenter who worked in the basement before he was vanished. that man is cooperating. >> two teens are facing charles after a school stabbing. it happened on friday. two female students were fighting over a wig when one stabbed the other with a pearing knife. one is in critical condition. both have been charged with assault. there is now a national and local movement for employers to

it is cloudy and 57 degrees in central maryland right now. dozens of people are hurt after two trains collide near

amsterdam. a local train was heading out when it crashed head-on with another. both were going at least 30 miles per hour. the cause of the crash is under investigation. police are looking for the man who shot a speed camera in santa fe, new mexico. look at this video. he fires off five rounds in his pajamas and walks away. it caused about $1,000 of damage. police say the man had just been slapped with a speeding ticket. now instead of a $100 fine, he is looking at felony charges. >> a man could face time in jail for torturing his neighbor's cat. he shot it 20 tiles with a be- be gun and drowned it. a neighbor came to it for the rescue and is being treated at a clinic.

above our average high of 67. 88 was the record high and we were closer to that than the normal. right now we're at 57 degrees with a west northwesterly wind. the winds will pick up through the day tomorrow. pretty gusty tomorrow and monday and chilly on top of it. temperatures will be around this range for the next few days. we have temperatures around 51. 63 down en ocean city. around the immediate metro area, 53 westminster. 60 in rock hall. and 62 in annapolis. we have seen these double digit wins around dc. look at the flow of the wind. it is low pressure around this that is bringing in this counterclockwise flow and that is why the winds are coming in from the north and northwest.

this front blew through and it will be draped right on down all the way extending down to the gulf and it is this low pressure system here that well be watching, tracking along the carolinas, right past virginia and right into the delmarva and jersey shore. by late tomorrow night into monday it will start pulling cold air down and that means there is a winter weather watch. winter stormwatch in effect. up to 6 inches of snow sunday into monday in the higher em visions. a small craft advisory in effect. tonight 48 degrees. off-and-on rain and drizzle. tomorrow with rain heavy at times only up to 54 and we could see 51 on monday. tomorrow the winds will pick up and we'll expect up to 2 inches of rain tomorrow evening. coming up next in sports,
