the trial is on for another of the men behind the controversial election nitrobocalls from governor bob ehrlich's last campaign. derek valcourt is live. >> reporter: attorneys are making motion to have the case thrown out for jewellous julius henson, the case is knee deep in politics. republican bob ehrlich campaigned for governor and his team agreed to hire julius henson to help them win. he wrote the now infamous election night call to 112,000 registered democrats in

predominantly black prince georges county before polls were closed. the call hinted came saying they came from the democrats. it never mentioned it was coming from ehrlich's campaign. the pro calls it illegal voter suppression and in paul's case, jurors agreed. he was sentenced to community service for the same robocall that has julius henson in call saying it's a violation of his free speech. so far, all of the motions by julius henson's attorney to have the case thrown out have been dismissed. jury selection could begin shortly. derek valcourt, wjz 13, eye witness news. we will stay at the courthouse and bring you the updates at 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00 and check the latest details at wjz.com.

two jewish brothers charged with beating an african american teen will have to wait to see if a judge declare as mistrial. the judge postponed the case until tomorrow. after the victim spoke up in court asking all charges be dropped and saying he no longer wanted to testify. the boys are accused of beating the teen in a park heights neighborhood in 2010. the younger brother of two pro football players is behind bars charged in attacks in washington dc. michael davis hit two people with a hammer and he is a suspect in the beating death of a denver tourist in the district a week ago. davis is the brother of vernon davis and von tae davis. police are investigating three people stabbed at one location it happened yesterday morning at the elks lodge in annapolis. three men including a working

54 degrees in central maryland. your forecast is coming up. in new york, an awful accident ended up at the brox zoo. suv brushed again the center jersey wall, veered across traffic and went over the guardrail. three girls are among the 7 people all from one family killed when the suv plunged 60- 100 feet to the ground below. investigators call the whole thing very tragic. >> sometimes you come across events that are horrific. >> everybody has a relative, everybody know as childs, everybody has a grand parent. you can see the emotion.

it's very upsetting. >> investigators aren't sure what caused the driver to lose control but think speed was a factor. no zoo visitors, animals or exhibits were affected. the case of a missing 6- year-old girl in arizona. in the video, a group of five people are seen leaving a club near isabelle's family home in tucson around the time she disappeared. the group may have seen something to help them find isabelle. one man has come forward to police. >> we continue to treat this as our goal of bringing her home, safe to her family. that's how we are treating this. >> the search has extended in to mexico, she was seen by her parents on the night of april 20th. in st. louis, investigators are looking in to a tent collapse that killed one person and injured dozens more. a storm ripped through an event tent where people gathered after a baseball game. a man was killed and 100 are

welcome back. we started out with sunshine, clouds came in as a warm front approaches the area. the warm front will bring us showers and a thunderstorm but we are just seeing the clouds

on the increase. the winds turned around to the east, combination of the clouds and wind will keep our temperatures down today. 54 degrees right now. 58 elkton. everyone will be down from yesterday. that's just for today. here is a big time warm up moving our way as marty was talking about. it's going to come after the warm front pushes to the north. that is what is going to bring us the warmer air. to the west, off to the north, slowly by tomorrow night. after that gets out of here, we are going to be in the summertime pat western the fronts to the north of us, wednesday in to the weekend. a pop up shower or thundershower, wednesday, thursday and friday, during that time, the temperatures are going to skyrocket. it's coming up from the south, and this is the same air mass that brought warmth to the southwest, moving east and across the south, a lot of temperatures in the 90s across georgia. that's the kind of air moving
