they're behind income inequality on international workers' day. you can see a group of activists rallying in mckelvin square and picketed. two boys were charged with accidentally shooting a 13 year old girl and hiding her body. according to the baltimore sun, the 12 and 13 years old admit they took part in the death of monet. teens dragged her body to an alley and put it in trash. officers say she was alive at the time but died afterwards. electionrobo-calls are in

today is mainly clear. 65 degrees in central maryland. strong winds force a wildfire. 150 people were evacuated, but no injuries have been reported. fire officials say it started as a campfire and is not considered arson. an international tragedy. norway's top olympic swimmer dies while attending a training camp in arizona. they found his body in the shower. he passed away from a suspected heart attack. he won the first olympic swimming medal in 2008. he was scheduled to return to norway this week. at least five people will be facing criminal charges in connection with the hazing death in florida. robert was found dead on a bus after returning from a football

game. he died from blunt force trauma after being hazed by other band members. the charges range from demeanor to felony assault. robert champion's family said they're thankful after five months of delay, there's now movement in the case. maryland's highest court labels pit bulls as dangerous. that ruling has sparked some debate. people are arguing about who is the blame. >> reporter: dominic almost bled to death after he was attacked by a pit bull. >> it bit him in the arm and got him in the femoral artery. >> reporter: ever since, he's been in a legal battle trying to sue the landlord for negligence. the case can move forward declaring that when an attack is involving pit bulls, it's no

longer necessary to prove that a pit bull is dangerous. >> it gives people that are mauled, not bitten by the dogs, to seek recourse. it's all about accountability. >> it's similar to racial profiling in a way. you can't look at physical characteristics of a dog and determine whether it will be aggressive or not. >> reporter: there's another influx of the dogs. >> we've been getting a lot of phone calls being threatened by landlords to be evicted if they don't get rid of the animals. >> reporter: he said they're trying to help the children. >> they have the accountability that's necessary for earning this type of dog, that's where they should be. i don't want the dogs out there and i'd like the people who advocate them would be people who aren't committed. >> reporter: it's highly politicized. one study that pit bulls are no more likely to be involved in fatal attacks, but an older

the police chief is proposing a fine for high volume obscenities. stopping this air pollution will enhance the quality of life in the town. the $20 fine was chosen rather than having every offender's mouth washed out with soap. >> we could raise money in the newsroom. >> there's things i want to say and can't. >> we'd all be arrested. let's take a look at the radar. a batch of showers popped up over ohio and portions of west virginia and continue to head out to the east and seven days, over the mountains. we may see showers after 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 in the morning and then things quiet down. a lot of this is not going to make it in our direction, but some of it probably will. we missed a lot last night. i think some of that will happen tonight. 65 degrees now. 80% humidity. no wind at all. the barometer is steady at 0.00

inches. 58 in cumberland. close to 70 in d.c. 60 in ocean city. locally, around the mid 60s, everywhere, which is really warm right now. 0 wind. a light east wind. that's going to keep us in a little bit of cooler ocean air. now, some of the ocean air is very stable air. south in virginia, it could get into the 80s. i expect we'll stay in the mid 70s tomorrow and the boundary line next to the region offshore to the north, the system in ohio will create pretty heavy showers and hailstorms tonight. it's still a viable piece of precipitation. how much survives in the mountains? because we lose the energy in the day. i think some will survive.
