found him guilty on one of the charges he's facing. wjz and derek valcort are live. good afternoon, derek. >> reporter: one of the four charges the jury has returned a guilty verdict after three days of deliberations. let's go through those charges with you. the first charge, the guilty charge was guilty of conspiracy to leave off the so-called authority line. that's the line at the end of the robocall that should have said paid for by the bob urlik campaign. they returned a not guilty verdict for leaving off the authority line. that has confused the prosecutor or julius henson. neither understand that. he was found not guilty of both charges of election frauder for trying to -- frauder for trying -- fraud for trying to trick voters to staying home on election night. this took place in 2010

as polls for closing. bob urlik's campaign hired julius henson to send out a robocall to 112,000 voters. those calls went to democrats suggesting there was no reason to vote because the democrat was already winning. prosecutors say that amounted to a misleading robocall. they si it -- they say it was description and should have been -- deception and should have been punished. we spoke with julius henson just a few moments ago that talked to us about this 20 month or deal an he talked to us about what the campaign of governor bob urlik knew. >> probably some other senior people in the campaign office knew that day. i'm not sure what he knows. i don't think the state was interested in that. the state was interested

in julius henson only. they didn't get -- bother to get their phones or raid their houses or do anything. from day one they decided it's julius, let's do him. >> reporter: of course bob urlik's campaign manager was convicted on these exact same charges. the skrur -- jury found him guilty of all four of those control charges. he does face possible criminal punishment, up to a year in jail. that is not at all likely to be the punishment he will face. sentencing for this one charge that he was found guilty of here today will happen on june 13th. we'll keep you posted. >> thank you very much. we will continue to follow this story an bring you the latest -- and bring you the latest. a manhunt involving murder and kidnapping is over.

last night adam mays shot and killed himself as swat team moved in to arrest him. the missing sisters were found safe and have been taken to a hospital. mays was accused of killing their mother and their sister in order to abduct the girls. police say 26-year-old eric allen fell on to the pool deck at the holiday inn earlier this week and later died at the hospital. detectives are trying to determine from where he fell. a grand jury indicts a man with killing his wife more than 20 years ago. robert jared is now facing a murder charge. he was arrested a month ago. jared continues to be held without bail. new developments for a maryland aid worker imprisonened in cuban. we have more on his
