we're seeing at this point. and they're just sort of meandering around, not moving all that quickly. as you head to the evening hours, still a chance for a shower or thunderstorm to pop up. clouds tried to break up somewhat last night. fog formed where that happened. and then we're seeing a couple of those showers and even a thunderstorm or two pop up. as we head through today. not much of a wind out there. that's why there's not much movement to these storms. that's also why we're not really mixing up the atmosphere. just seeing some sunshine return. this is what we'll be dealing with as we head into tomorrow. tomorrow, temperatures are 76 in baltimore. when you have that wind coming off the water, 66 is what it is like right now in ocean city. quite a contrast there. in cumberland, it is is up to 81 degrees. so far, our high has been 76 degrees. you see, that's our average. we're going to be above that tomorrow. and wait until you see the heat coming our way, as we head toward the weekend. now, that's for most of maryland. if you're going to be down in ocean city, you still have that

cooler water, influencing your temperature. so it will be a little different down there. but back across the rest of the mid-atlantic. here's our weather pattern. this is what is left of alberto. barely any at all. here's the storm that made its way through yesterday. and here's a front stalled out to the west. the three of them are still stuck in place. keeping our weather pretty unsettled. that's going to be the case, tonight into tomorrow. and even into thursday, before we start to really see movement around here. saturday, there's showers and thunderstorms. that's what we're going to see in this pattern. you see, by thursday, the main source of that front tries to get out of here. but still enough moisture left over for a shower or thunderstorm. then what happens this weekend is high pressure tries to come in with that warmer air. but it's going to trap some moisture in underneath. we'll see a couple of pop-up showers and thunderstorms. forecast is like this on the waters. pretty light winds out there. that's going to be the case going into thursday also. southeast winds at 5 to 10 knots. tonight, we could see a shower or thunderstorm.
4:25 pm
most of that will die down overnight. and we'll see fog form. mild one. tomorrow, we go up to about 80 degrees for our high. clouds trying to mix with some sunshine out there. still a couple of showers and thunderstorms popping up on radar. they're going to be scattered about. the time suggest really hard to pinpoint. the exact placement is hard. >> good lesson for the kids tomorrow, on weather day. >> that's right. it's going to be fun. >> something rumbling. >> thanks, bern. don't miss tonight's seeks primetime lineup. it's an hour episode of ncis. then stay tuned for eyewitness news at 11:00. and still to come at 4:30. sporting event shooting. gunfire after an nba game. several people are hurt. the latest on the investigation. a young boy saved, just before he falls on the edge of a waterfall. how rescuers reached them. and business battle on the campaign trail. what president obama and his likely opponent are saying. eyewitness news continues with denise and vic after this. ,,,,,
